Trailer of the work I’ve done in game development. My current big project is Ace Perinova, a PC space flight sim that expands my ideas from Space’s Aces, and a mobile board game with some unique mechanics and strategy.

some screenshots from my indie game, Dirthead! some of these have WIP elements, but they all do a good job showing off the game's atmosphere, I think
I'm very happy with how I've been breaking all the data in my mech game down into structs and scriptable objects. Definitely going to make putting content together down the road a much simpler proposition!
An old King's Field II trailer from 1996
These shots made my day.
On stream yesterday I stumbled across a Unity forum post that I think perfectly summarizes game development in Unity
A ringworld and the planet it was built off of. A bit of world building concept art for Ace Perinova. There’s a very fun whacky sci-fi explanation for why it needed to be built, and how it was even possible. That’s a story for some other time.
Viewfinder is a mind-blowing perspective-based puzzle adventure that does things you won’t believe are possible!

played through Moon for PS1 a few days ago so you know I had to get obsessed with trying to make my own clay shader
Small little update
Just wanted to share. I’m working for a small little project over the next month. Creating a solid, good feeling character controller for an artist at Bungie. So there may be less of my work for that time, but there will still be some. Fun little project either way.
Some work in progress sci-fi art from yours truly. Thought I’d share because I don’t know when they’ll be done, and I also just personally think unfinished art can be cool sometimes. They can give really weird, but cool vibes sometimes. Though normally, I personally prefer to post complete art.
A ring world built in the habitable zone of a small star. Structures around the star simulate day-night for the surface. I initially wanted to make a Dyson sphere, but I feel like this fits better as concept art for Ace Perinova. Even then, it might be the wrong aesthetic. But it was fun to paint, and created a feeling I wanted to see.
New piece of environment concept art for my game: Ace Perinova. I've been working on these mood setting pieces of environment art as they come to me lately. It’s not as flashy as exploding ships or some new cool gameplay feature, but they help set the atmosphere for potential levels. At the very least, they look pretty cool and make me feel good to see. I make them in 16:9 ratio so that I can match the game view exactly to the image in the future if I want.
Working on a result screen!
Sorry for the C rank by the way😋
Small utility app for Pokémon players or nuzlockers that makes searching Pokémon by generation easy.
My Serebii Search app that allows you to easily search for a Pokémon's Serebii page has by generation has been updated for both Windows and Android to now properly search for Gen 9 using updated data from Serebii's national dex.
Midnight aurora
Full throttle. Max pressure.
Some music for Ace Perinova, the space-flight game I’m working on, is available on Soundcloud. Only really two songs, mainly improvements over songs in my previous project. I’ve been iterating over this particular song for a while now. I think I’m done with it for a minute, but I find it very enjoyable to listen to. Give it a listen for yourself!
Getting to Know the Hikers
Our Hikers can be a bit mysterious. They don't have names (though we love hearing players' names for them), and we don't like giving them backstories that aren't discoverable in the game through conversation. Each Hiker definitely has their own personality, interests, and vibe though. We'd love to introduce them to you.
A good place to start would be with the first Hiker we modelled for Glitchhikers: The Spaces Between. They were an entirely new Hiker (not one of the 6 Original Hikers featured in First Drive). As you may glean from their kin list here, this Hiker has a love of the natural world and science, but one that they'd rather experience through a glowing monitor than in person.
Still, being so intimately connected to technology means that they are acutely aware of the pitfalls, problems, and outstanding questions that all of our technological advances leave us with. They'd love to get your take on it all, if you find them for a chat during commercial breaks.
If you'd like to see some early images of their design explained, check below the cut.
