Mario movie spoilers / review/opinion/whatever (i just got home from watching it and i need to wring the thoughts out of my brain like a wet towel)
> First off, i had fun. I really did. I liked the movie. My brother went with me and he also liked it.

I was neutral toward it but overexposure made me loathe it after the first movie. 99% of the Bowser tag was just that accursed ship. Get that green twink out of my sight (Luigi is one of my faves i love him just. God. Imagine your notp taking over your blorbo tag. Okay? It was Bad). And the first movie was NOTHING in comparison to this. So the whole movie i was just sitting there going "god the fandom is gonna be insufferable /neg" and it greatly diminished my enjoyment.
I don't think i will be rejoining the fandom right now. I don't think i could do it. I'd want to see Bowser content and there is None.
To be clear, good on you to all the shippers. Genuinely. Live your dreams. But regrettably they are my nightmares.

(Genuinely tho i've always loved him with Junior). And Junior my beloved boy he was a treat. I love him so much. I want to see a whole show of just domestic dad Bowser and Junior daily life (with the occasional kidnapping for enrichment).

Kid me playing mario kart on the gamecube mained Yoshi most of the time but always defaulted to Birdo whenever he wasn't available. In my mind that was his wife. Idek why. I was 3. But they didn't even interact. My 3 year old self would be crushed.
Still, it was fun. I had fun. Probably won't go see this one 5 times like the first, but i had a good time, and congrats to the notp shippers, you won today and i lost and i shall take it with grace. Please tag your posts for lil ol me. Ily.
