The Sun sets — beneath 2 horizons
Taken from the Paranal mountain, home to the ESO Paranal site that houses the Very Large Telescope (VLT), this spectacular view points out over the South Pacific Ocean at sunset. The water itself is hidden beneath a second sea of very thin clouds — so thin that the Sun shines up through them, revealing the line of the true water horizon, giving the odd illusion that the Sun has already sunk beneath one horizon, and is preparing to set for the second time.

When you close your eyes in meditation, you see the vastness of your consciousness—you see that you are in the center of eternity. Concentrate there; take a little time in the morning and the evening just to close your eyes and say:“I am the Infinite; I am His child. The wave is a bulge of the ocean; my consciousness is a bulge of the great Cosmic Consciousness. I am afraid of nothing. I am Spirit.”-Paramahansa Yogananda #quotes #yoga #meditation #kriyayoga #paramahansayogananda #yogananda #namaste #wisdom
