take time out of your day to fully realize the things that make you happy please!! if something brings you joy don’t disregard it as dumb or trivial!!! if you like listening to people talk ask one of your friends to talk to you! you aren’t bothering them!! if you like singing don’t ever stop! if sunsets make you happy you had better go chase them!! people who tell you that you shouldn’t do things that make you happy aren’t good for you!!!

hot take: religious lgbt people aren’t any less lgbt than the nonreligious lgbt community but will always have different relationship with their identity. please don’t ever discount the experiences that religious lgbt people have had within their communities and do your best to lift them up because no matter how supportive their immediate community is they have had to struggle with their sense of self and identity internally and that’s a kind of perpective you can’t find anywhere else.
