NASA's Hubble Space Telescope has revisited the famous Pillars of Creation, revealing a sharper and wider view of the structures in this visible-light image. The colors in the image highlight emission from several chemical elements. Oxygen emission is blue, sulfur is orange, and hydrogen and nitrogen are green.
Looking nearly back toward the Sun, the robot Cassini spacecraft now orbiting Saturn captured crescent phases of Saturn and its moon Rhea in color a few years ago.
Mysterious âmagic islandâ appears on Saturnâs moon In addition to revealing island-like icebergs of methane, scientists are hoping the summer solstice on Titan will stir up tropical cyclones for observation.

A few days ago NASA and the European Space Agency released the Hubble Ultra Deep Field (HUDF) 2014 - the latest in a series of deep space images (see the other three here) captured by the Hubble Space Telescope. This image is âamong the most colorful deep space images ever capturedâ.
The first time I saw the Hubble UDF image was the closest thing to a religious experience Iâve ever had. Â Take a moment to realize what exactly youâre looking at. Â This image captures nearly 10,000 galaxies, each containing millions to billions of stars in a section of sky roughly the size of a postage stamp held at armâs length. Â Scary to some, but I find solace in understanding my own insignificance. Â
Illuminated Code from Space - Macrocosm and Microcosm by Haari Tesla
An experiment with images of space with tilt shift which resulted in nebulae, galaxies, and supernovae transformed into microorganisms.
Macrocosm and microcosm is an ancient Greek Neo-Platonic schema of seeing the same patterns reproduced in all levels of the cosmos, from the largest all the way down to the smallest scale.
Jupiterâs great red spot. A hurricane three times the size of our whole planet thatâs been raging for centuries.
