Y’all can be mad that Anthony Mackie is portraying a Japanese character (who’s original body is dead and now has to hop into other bodies to complete his missions) all you want, but don’t let a reason be that he’s not Japanese. The original Takeshi was played by Will Yun Lee who’s not Japanese either, he’s Korean-America.

Words out people, your fave isn’t even Japanese.

Oh and young Tak isn’t Japanese either, he’s Chinese American.
