T.N: Bighit started with not much and their first building (2013) was shared with many other companies. BigHit’s 2020 building is exclusively theirs, from the basement to the top floor. It’s no shocker when the company last year alone generated a revenue of over $500M.

On the other side The seven members of BTS lived in a one-bedroom apartment back in 2013, now they reside in Hannam The Hill which is the most expensive apartment complex in South Korea (Jin also owns 2 houses there and gifted one to his parents).

Both the company and the group had no resources back at their starts, Bighit battled bankruptcy and BTS were bordering disbandment and drowned in debt (that they only managed to pay in 2016 a.k.a they worked for over 3 years without a salary/profit - BTW groups from big companies debut with NO debt). Today, they are so rich to the point that BTS is worth over $3.6 billion a year to South Korea’s economy and their label’s total value is roughly ~5B USD. This is such an insane story that BTS is featured today in Harvard Business curriculum as a case study of global success. The boys are still known for being very polite, kind and humble. BTS also frequently donate to help causes all around the world (And usually in secret because they believe that charity is not done for publicity).
