The topic of having extra hair as a tertiary gene for the new ancient breed came up, and somebody linked a show yorkie with extravagant hair and I had to draw the new breed as such.

andromeda, the tiefling/aasimar warlock/cleric - or annie to her friends. her mother was a tiefling, her father was an aasimar. back home, she was thought of as an impossible child, born of great love, and seen as incredibly lucky. folks would go to her for blessings even when she was young.

some consider her a miracle, some an abomination. she’s a warlock/cleric multiclass, her patron being her mother’s sire, and her goddess, her father’s mother. the two fought over who would give this impossible child their gift, and in the end, they agreed to grant her both their power.

Firstly, thank you! And secondly I will show you :)

1) Base. Capsule part is on another layer so it’s easy to edit

2) Gradient. I usually just color pick from the actual capsule colors or I just make my own

3) Add in the “back” of the capsule. Some capsules have it being dark or light, in this case I picked light. I usually stop it right around the pecs or on ferals, the neck. Doesn’t matter if this bit is messy since it’ll get covered up in step 4

4) Time to make the capsule actually look like there’s fluid in there. I add the surface of the liquid with a squished oval shape that’s a lighter color than the gradient below it on a new layer. Then I add some highlights for shine

5) Bubbles if you want. You could also get spoopy and add things like bones or whatever

6) Final touches. With an overlay layer, I add more highlights onto the torso for shine and outline the outside of the capsule for a more bottle-like look. I also add a bit of shadow on the neck and a lil behind the liquid’s surface. Of course feel free to add more shadows and stuff to the chest and whatnot

Included are a few examples of some capsules I’ve done so you can see how they vary a bit.
