For the past few years, I hold off on opening any chests I get through familiar bonding (or elsewhere) so I can open them all on my birthday! This year was fun because I got the added bonus of Thorntail breed scrolls. Here are the results of the accumulated currency and scrolls:

Rusted (380 chests): 468,326 treasure, 2 Thorntail scrolls Iron (279 chests): 965,209 treasure, 831 gems, 4 Thorntail scrolls Gilded (133 chests): 992,516 treasure, 1997 gems, 2 Thorntail scrolls Total: 2,426,051 treasure, 2,828 gems, 8 Thorntail scrolls

I am curious how many chests I'll get this upcoming year as I have caught up on a bunch of familiar bonding due to an excess of dragons from a breeding project. :')... hopefully there will be a bunch of new familiars from NotN and beyond!

General Flight Rising question: Do you actually get people inquiring or asking you to sell your valuable/permanent dragons?

Do people cold message you about your permas/keepers/well loved lair residents?

Please vote and elaborate in the replies or reblogs! I'm really curious why some users would get cold messages about dragons than others. (I do get inquiries a lot, just not about dragons.)

I see plenty of people who seem to get asked about permas a LOT, to the point where they need to put it in their FAQs! But despite having what I'd consider some 'valuable' dragons (G1 triples, doubles, G1 imp living in my lair for a while), most of which aren't even named, I've only ever gotten people asking after dragons clearly marked in sale tabs. (Maybe I just have too many oddball G1s too?? Maybe they give off the vibe of 'not for sale'??)

I've had so many inquiries on my oldest dragons, I had to add 'pricing' to make people understand they're not for sale.

I.E. "I will only trade for a gen 1 imperial" is more effective than "not for sale."

It's worth noting I have a 3 and 4 digit and there are very few active ones about.

I also had someone offer me like 42 gems on my triple watermelon g1 once, haha. I bred her both for lore and to make people who only want "pure" g1s to not bother inquiring.

In regard to your tags, I agree offers have petered out somewhat. I do get more PMs recently that imply people don't read my bio onsite, though. Shrug emoji.
