Sunset over the capital
First picture on the page!!! This photo is rather old, as will most of the pictures for the next few weeks. I have to stock up on pictures I love before I feel comfortable posting them. I want to post pictures that I think are worth everybody’s time. This photo was taken in the Poconos on a camping trip I did with my family a long time ago.
A little background
I know, the first post on a photography blog is a text chunk, but I felt like I should explain what my plans are for this page.
Firstly, my name is Dylan. I’m a 20 year old straight guy. I’m currently attending college, striving for a degree in astronomy and astrophysics. Lots of math and space, although I’m terrible at low light photography, so don’t expect any beautiful nighttime sky’s. I plan on getting better at what I do as my hobby and hopefully the continued posting on this blog will help me with that.
That brings me to the main content on this page. I have two reasons for creating this page. I want to expand and become better than I am now, (Currently my photography skill is at “meh” level). I’m also using the page as a motivational tool. I’ve fallen into a lazy state when it comes to photography and want to get back into it, so I’ve decided the best way to do that is to force myself to post every week. Each post will either be something I took that week, or something old that I finally went and edited. The types of photos will be tagged appropriately. I may also post quick snapshots if I deem them worthy for sharing to the public.
Currently I stand at a whopping 1 follower, and even if it stays at that number, I don’t plan on stopping unless it becomes to much of a task. But for anyone who does follow me, I welcome comments and constructive criticism as well as any suggestions you may have for me. Thank you for visiting kramberrypie! (That name means nothing, I just like cranberries and misspelling things)
