An epic Sunday running (and winning) the Empire Sports Car Association (ESCA) April Fool’s Rallye with my son @augustuskrider and his girlfriend Libby. The #fiestast was the perfect choice for the twisty NorCal roads. Gus and I have been a formidable driver/navigator team for some time now, but this was our biggest victory to date winning the Senior Class. We attribute that victory to getting Lucky Number 13 at registration and an extra set of eyes with Libby in the backseat keeping us on course. And… in true Krider Racing/DNN Motorsports fashion we partied like rock stars the night before in downtown Napa (and still won!). Alright full Jane’s Addiction recap. First, it was epic. Great night. Mountain Song, Three Days, Ain’t No Right, they crushed these tunes. Eric Avery on bass was amazing. I’d seen Perry and Stephen before with Porno For Pyros but this was my first Jane’s show. I’ve seen Navarro with the Peppers but he wasn’t here tonight. His fill in Josh was a phenom. Encore was Jane Says played differently with Stephen not using the steel drums and the bassist, Eric, on acoustic guitar. The lead guitar simulated the steel drum (different but effective).
