Recently read this and absolutely loved it. The story is about Enid moving into a new house that's haunted by multiple spirits and Wednesday is a ghost hunter that will be expelling one type of ghost every week. It's hilarious and very heartfelt. Definitely one of my favorites.

(Delusions anon)Really???? /gen I always thought it came from mental illness termology and got misenterpreted like 'triggered' and stuff like that + I sent the ask bc of a specific post i saw by someone who experiences actual delusions saying to not use it because people had been ableist to them over it

Delusion is a term of expression and description. A person who is delusional does not mean that person has a delusion-relating mental illness, just like a person who is feeling depressed/anxious does not mean they have depressive/anxiety disorders. I respect ppl's wish to not wanting to see their condition being made fun of, but the truth is, it is not that deep in this case; in this case, nobody is making fun or making light of their condition, it's just a descriptive term, a slang, true in its definition. I'm sorry about what the other person had to go through, but you and them need to understand that although some ableists use some words to make fun of ppl, not everyone using those words in a regular sentence is ableist. That is a very disrespectful and accusatory way to refer to ppl even when you have no ill intention to.

Hi Kris!!I'm truly sorry if this is a weird/too bold of an ask but i checked out your blog and i love your art sm but you should know that using 'delusions' to mean something you want to happen but probably won't is ableist as delusions are actually symptoms of mental illness(Referring to your caption on the Wenclair kits post-I really want to reblog it but don't want to offend anyone)
