في دروب الحياة نتبادل الكلمات
ونزرع بذور المحبة بكل الأوقات
ونسعد كلما هبت نسائم اللقاءات
ونرسل مشاعرنا في ثوب الأمنيات
In the paths of life we exchange words.
And we plant the seeds of love at all times.
And we are happy whenever the breezes of the meetings blow.
And we send our feelings in the dress of wishes.

What really matters is what you do with what you have.
(H. G. Wells)
To enjoy the things we ought and to hate the things we ought has the greatest bearing on excellence of character.
(Aristotle)
Civilization is in a race between education and catastrophe. Let us learn the truth and spread it as far and wide as our circumstances allow. For the truth is the greatest weapon we have.
(H. G. Wells)
Everyday Poetry - "People will do anything, no matter how absurd, in order to avoid facing their own souls. One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious." Carl Jung
Auguste Rodin (1840–1917), The Gates of Hell, modeled 1880–1917, bronze cast after the artist's death from the original plaster model. Musée Rodin, Paris. Commissioned in 1880 for a proposed Museum of Decorative Arts in Paris, the monument remained unfinished throughout Rodin's lifetime. Conceived after Dante Alighieri's Inferno, the composition ultimately expanded beyond its literary source, incorporating references to Charles Baudelaire's Les Fleurs du mal and developing into an independent sculptural program. More than 180 figures are organized within a continuous, high-relief field that rejects Renaissance compositional hierarchy in favor of an unstable, expressive surface. Many of Rodin's most celebrated sculptures—including The Thinker, The Kiss, The Three Shades, and Ugolino and His Sons—originated as figures first modeled for this monumental portal before being enlarged and exhibited as autonomous works.
