Hello Krixwell! Not trying to be annoying by bringing up Worm on your main blog, but I was reminded of your wormy liveblog recently and was wondering if you ever intended to slither back to it? (not pressuring you, just asking for clarification if you're willing (feel free to throw this in the mental trash if you wish (have I made this ask incoherent via these parentheses?)))
At the very least, I'm not admitting it's over yet. I still want to get back to it.
It might take a while, though. Work has been crazy busy for the last year or two and is only recently showing signs of calming down a bit, after we got a little less understaffed. That's the biggest reason this happened; my days filled up with work and mindless pastimes to rest up before the next shift at work, leaving little time when I was both available and rested enough to liveblog.
I also just... don't have a great track record when it comes to breaking out of these sorts of extended hiati on my projects.
I am a being of inertia. Truth is, even with all the work, there have been times I'd've been able to blog, but the inertia of the hiatus kept me looking to other activities to pass my time, just as the inertia of the blogging itself kept me going while it was active. The first step of coming back is convincing my brain that I can come back, that I can start moving again without something pushing me.
Speaking of daunting things, even when (when) I do take the plunge on returning, I'm definitely going to need to reread a bit first. At least a couple arcs, maybe all of Worm so far, but ideally at least from arc 10 onwards. Since I faded away during what seemed to structurally be the climax of that entire section of the story, I'd like the buildup to be significantly fresher in my mind than it was even while I was active. To not do this would be a disservice to everyone involved.
But yeah. The blog is not dead, just comatose. Just needs a bit of fire to the face to wake it up. That girl with the bloody scalpel over there also looks like she might be able to help. I'll see what I can do.
