Solution to Find Lost (kidnapped) Children (people)
Everyday hearing about child kidnapping and human trafficking. Even few innocents been killed due to fake stories on WhatsApp. But we have to accept that trafficking is a real issue which destroy the life of innocent souls and push them into the life of torture, misery, hopelessness and full of abuses.
As we all know that most of the children are used as beggars, laborers and sex slaves ("3 businesses").
Now, I have been thinking about a solution to find these children.
Our Police Department can find these children but they do not have enough resources. They can inspect each and every children involved in above 3 businesses. But obviously, our current forces have limited numbers. So why can not we use technology and data? Data which we are storing since last 4-5 years. Here what I suggest:-
Aadhaar - unique number/id given to each citizen of India. Different countries have same concept with different names and little changes.
1. Aadhaar Numbers: yes, Aadhaar. Create Aadhaar Id for each children. Take their finger prints and retina scan and other biological proofs alongwith their parents' contact details.
2. As we are already having an Aadhaar database. Create another database of those children who are lost/ kidnapped. Government won't be needing more resources for this.
3. Now the main cost: we have to distribute Biometric Scanners ("scanners") to Police Department.
4. Now, whenever any policeman see any child involved in above 3 Businesses, all he has to do is to scan that child's fingers and retinas. And that scanner will send those data to server storing data of lost children. And server will match data taken by scanner with its data. And if data taken by scanner matches with any entry, then message will blink on scanner.
And yes, also scan children living in NGO. Not all NGOs are for service.
Eye Retina and Finger prints both can be changed. But that might leave mark and it might prove a conclusive evidence.
I don't know whether it is possible or not financially/ technically/ practically, but this is what I suggest to find lost children.
