I remembered in Gilbert's route that Chev gave MC a pin with his emblem on it to show that she was under his protection (and extra brownie points for pissing off Gilly-boy) and Esther didn't have any particular designs on her fluff buttons and just thought '... it's free real estate.'

Not a perfect match as I was using a not so great ref for the pin, but I think I got close enough!

I've made little mentions on my other blogs of wanting to finish at least 5 of my older fics this year, but now I'm thinking of doing fic art for some of them. The 'Leonardo teaching Abby How to Art' fic was the first one I finished this year, thus inspiring this WIP.

My werk hours picked up at the start of the year and writing is starting to take priority bc of one of the resolutions I made this year was to try and finish at least a handful of fics, so art is taking a backseat here at the start, but I still wanted to do some sketching and coloring with the new house shenanigans I've experienced thus far in LaDS. #krys's adventures in art #art summary #art summary 2025 #seeing all the digital stuff makes me realize I really need to work more on subtly lol #high saturation is lovely don't get me wrong #but it's pretty much all I do when I do digital stuff #have been looking at some art tutorials about coloring with more subtly so maybe that can be used in arts in the coming year #Miri and Clara also dominated this year #past years at least had *some* character diversity #even if it was just different ocs #not this year apparently lol #they did have some big moments this year so that's probably why they were on my mind the most #Nokto's sequel came out this year english side so that explains Clara's uptick #Miri I think it was the sting of Nightbringer ending so suddenly at the end of last year that I tried to cope through her #and then the marriage app came out so of course Miri is gonna get more focus because of that #not sorry about it at all #I love all my ocs #just that Clara and Miri got a little extra love this year compared to previous ones

Miri has had it pretty rough the last couple of hours, what with stopping Lucifer's forced arranged marriage, eloping with him while he raises his middle finger to the sky, declaring that Satan's in charge of Diavolo now, later peasants! And now Diavolo is calling Miri to not so subtly laugh at the past day's events and to remind Lucifer indirectly that he still needs Miri as the Human World Representative, so he doesn't completely get his new wife all to himself just yet.

I'm laughing about it now, but Miri still needs some time to process things.
