This is my main blog where I reblog otome-related things. My biggest fandoms for this blog include Cybird's Ikemen Series (Midnight Cinderella, Ikemen Sengoku, Ikemen Revolution, Ikemen Vampire, and Ikemen Prince), and Shall We Date: Obey Me. Other otomes that will get reblogged here is Otomate's Hakuouki, Code: Realize, and Collar x Malice, Voltage's Samurai Love Ballad: Party, and a sprinkling of small indie titles like Cinderella Phenomenon and Hustle Cat, and various others.

I’d like to think of this blog as more of a reblogging place rather than a place that I regularly put out content, even though that’s what it had originally started out as.
Thus, I usually don’t take requests, for art or for writing. Sometimes I’ll join challenges and I’ll do art or fics for friends for special occasions, like birthdays or the holidays. Overall, however, I don’t take requests. At best, the request will sit in my inbox forever, unanswered, for me to stare at for eternity, unanswered, taunting me(like that one Nobunaga ask from forever ago). Most content that I post will be of my own brain stumblings and ideas.
Asks, Submissions, Ask Meme Questions, FMKs, screaming about your favorite things, or just general small talk and questions are always welcome. Rude, hateful anons will be laughed at in private and swiftly deleted.
I do my best to tag triggering material, along with NSFW material. But, it will be inevitable that there will be one or two things that I’ll miss. In these cases, please let me know and I’ll add in the appropriate warning tag.
For content warnings, I always use CW: (insert warning tags here) in the tags. I use CW (content warning) as I don’t know which of my followers would consider what thing triggering and another wouldn’t be bothered by it. Thus using CW at the start of every potential trigger I can see.
NSFW works will be labeled under the ‘spicy’ or ‘very spicy’ depending how explicit the work gets, because tumblr hides stuff if I label it as NSFW (as I found out on one of my Masamune fics, where it’s like my 3rd most kudos’d work and has the highest hit count of my latest fics).
My policies on fanart, fanfic of fic, podfics, translations, etc. of my works
Unless it’s specified otherwise in an author’s note, the summary, or literally anywhere else I can post it, you are welcome to:
-Make fanart inspired by my fanworks, my ocs, etc;
-Write your own fanfiction inspired by my fanworks, my ocs, etc;
-Write translations of my fics into other languages (I also ask that you provide a link to the translation), and
-To make podfics of my fics (again, I want links to I can see it too!).
For tumblr, tag me in your post to let me know. I wanna see what you’ve created!
For fic posting to AO3, please mark in the Associations list that the work is ‘a remix, a translation, a podfic, or was inspired by another work’. I double post my fanfics to AO3, so they’re easy to find. For fic inspired by my art, put in the original’s URL in the Associations tab and my name, KrysImeteriHikari, or krys-loves-otome.
For sites outside of AO3 and tumblr, please link back to the original and message me about it either here on tumblr or on my twitter.
I do not, however, allow copy-paste reposts. On ANY of my content, fandom, original, or otherwise. Fanworks that are not credited and I catch it, will be asked to be taken down and reported. This includes:
-Fanart put in a youtube/tiktok video
-Art or Fics reposted to a different tumblr/Facebook/Pinterest/Wattpad/any other social media account/fanfic site other than the ones I have listed above
-Fanfics copied verbatim (word for word) and/or ‘with a few words changed’ but is otherwise identical to the original,
-Anything that can be taken/considered as stealing or blatant plagiarism.

Krys's Birthday Bash 2026: Draw This OC Again - Jagger Ayame
Starting on August 1st and continuing through to my birthday on the 17th, I'll be showcasing some old art of my OCs alongside a redraw of that character with my current artistic abilities and sensibilities.
For today's entry, we're staying in the same universe that Skyler is from, but we're drawing one of the antagonists, Jagger!
Here's what he looked like when I first designed him:
versus how I would draw him now:
Jagger was raised in a family that was anti-supernatural, often being called upon to do, ahem, 'exterminations' to get rid of troublesome supernaturals. A certain wizard and his family keep getting in their way and Jagger's family doesn't like that. They have also taken in a new cousin that's lost his family recently. Jagger thinks he's a little weird, but nothing out of the normie norm, but he is abnormally good at detecting and killing other supernatural beings, so they keep this cousin around because of his usefulness.
That is, until the cousin starts getting a little too friendly with one of the enemy Wizard's nieces and cousin starts having second thoughts about what it is they're doing. Jagger eventually follows suit (if he's got nothing else going for him, he cares about his family and will do what he can to protect them). But again, like I said in Skyler's entry, the story was getting a little too big for me to handle on my own and college was coming in swinging, so it kinda fizzled out after a while and I lost the motivation to work on it further.

Starting on August 1st and continuing through to my birthday on the 17th, I'll be showcasing some old art of my OCs alongside a redraw of that character with my current artistic abilities and sensibilities.
Today we will focus on my first vampire character, Skyler!
Here he is when I was first designed him:
versus how I would draw him now:
Alongside my attempts to bring Takashi's story to life, I was also in the midst of creating a teen love story with a magical creature survivor story that was happening in the background and Skyler was one of the side characters.
Skyler lives with the MC's uncle and helps him fight against unfound prejudices against supernatural folks. He's no nonsense and helps look after the Uncle's teenage nieces since they lost their parents in a magical related accident. He also helps the uncle solve the mystery of the girls' parents' deaths (plus he doesn't have to go out for his 'meals' anymore now that he has the uncle).
The story fizzled out after a while (as I think it got a little too big for it's britches and college for me was starting by then) so Skyler soon became a regular of my self-insert mini comics that I did for a little while. He still hangs around most days, even if he doesn't have much to do currently.

Starting on August 1st and continuing through to my birthday on the 17th, I'll be showcasing some old art of my OCs alongside a redraw of that character with my current artistic abilities and sensibilities.
Rounding out Takashi's universe of characters, the last one for this countdown is Takashi's student, Taiyou!
Here's what he looked like when I was first designing him:

Taiyou was Takashi's student before he was exiled and one of the reasons that Takashi wants to get back into Heaven.
Like student like teacher, in his former life, Taiyou was an angel hybrid that was admitted into heaven based on how 'good' he was in his former life, but the angels aren't exactly... friendly to mixed species entering their 'sacred' spaces, especially with what Taiyou's mixed with. Takashi is especially worried for his student's safety as while Takashi did have friends that would protect Taiyou in Heaven, there weren't many. Takashi wasn't treated well as an angel with his human heritage, so he hates the idea of his student suffering the same fate or worse should he mess up even a little bit.
Taiyou is a sweet boy that just wants help others, hopes to become a Guardian Angel one day. Was heartbroken the day Takashi was exiled, still trying to this day to prove his teacher's innocence despite his pleas falling on deaf ears and he's starting to get desperate with rumors that Takashi is starting to lose his powers the longer he stays in the mortal realm.

Starting on August 1st and continuing through to my birthday on the 17th, I'll be showcasing some old art of my OCs alongside a redraw of that character with my current artistic abilities and sensibilities.
For today's entry, it'll be a follow up on yesterday as this post will talk about Takashi's half brother, Haiiro!
Here he is when I first designed him:
versus how I would draw him now:
Haiiro is an artificial being created with a mix of angel and demon DNA. Since he wasn't 'born' in the traditional sense like other mortal beings, he doesn't feel particularly close to either species that make him up. Because of his mixed heritage often clashing inside of him, he's not very expressive and often has trouble expressing certain emotions. He's also jealous of Takashi and the control he has over his magic even if he wouldn't admit it openly.
He came along later when I was coming up in Takashi's story as an antagonistic force but he's not outright villainous. He just wants to know if something is worth his time for it to be important to him. Takashi actually likes him as Haiiro is family (...kinda sorta, it's Takashi's dad's DNA in Haiiro's angel half) and tries to make nice with him all the time, despite the constant rejections at connecting from Haiiro's end. Haiiro eventually does put his grievances aside so the two can team up to defeat the greater evil as while he's not happy about Takashi in general, he hates the greater evil more and he'd rather keep the home he's carved out for himself out of evil hands.

Up first is probably one of my oldest OCs I have (both in the metaphorical sense in that he was created when I was a teen and in the literal sense as he's over 10,000 years old.)
Let's meet him! Here's Takashi when he was first designed:
(weird blobbing on this and other artworks in this countdown is me censoring my actual government name as some of the artworks that are going to featured were made before I had an internet handle and presence, thus writing my real name on my artworks back then).
vs how I draw him now:
In his beginning days, Takashi was my self-insert's dad, back when I used to RP on AIM as a teenager. He was a powerful magic user that specializes in healing magic thanks to his mother's teachings. Former angel accused of a crime he didn't commit, he now lives his life trying to prove his innocence and try to get back into heaven before he completely deteriorates into nothingness.
After my RP days, there were attempts at giving Taka a completed story including various starts with a comic, just straight up writing it down, musical moodboards, but nothing that's really stuck thus far.
Maybe someday I'll come up with a way that I want to present his story that's fulfilling to me, but for now, he just exists as a nice, funny man that hangs out in my mind.
