Most often, when someone does a redesign, the character's clothes change, and in some cases, the hairstyle, but nothing more. But otherwise they are similar to the original, simply... drawn in a different style/edited quite a bit. Is that the point of the redesign?

It has been revealed (thanks @krystalliser !) in the official discord that the reason the science club had grey hair was from a 'hairspray incident'!

8 years of waiting has finally gotten us an answer!

I like the new explanation as to why they all have white hair, I like how it actually makes sense and could happen, but I feel like it also takes away from Kaga's "mad scientist" attitude…

I really liked the concept of him experimenting on his club members since you know, he performed nonconsensual brain surgery on someone iirc. experimenting on his club members and the only side effects being white hair is not even close to the worst he's done, but adds onto the fact he has no problem potentially endangering his club members for the sake of science and innovation…

Also I might be getting a little picky here but why would he create so much hair spray to the point it could potentially leak, fill up a room, and turn 5 people's hairs silver
