Dear Diary #32,

I dragged his ass to the nearest cafe and demanded that he tell me the truth behind that kiss. NO ONE goes up to someone and just kisses them! After I settling down for a few seconds and him wandering off to find a book of some sort.

“I was paid to kiss you, not that your not pretty or anything. It was just for money”. I stared at him hard.

“Why would you need to be paid to kiss me? You come from a wealthy family”. He shrugged. 

“I don’t need it, I just want to do cause of who was asking me”. He let out a sigh, I could feel my patience slipping. 

“Who asked you to kiss me!? Even if it was for money!”. I snapped, he looked up from his book. 

“Bella did, she wanted me to help her clear the truth about homecoming up. So I thought I was doing her a favor”. I stared at him hard, he let out a sigh and placed the book down. 

“Bella and J Huntington hooked up after homecoming and she thinks she is pregnant so she thinks that if you aren’t in the picture and she is pregnant then she will be able to still get her money and Mortimer will raise J’s baby”. My jaw dropped, I mean I know that Bella is a dumb evil person. However, I never would have thought she would be this bad. 

“We have to tell Mortimer, I mean he can’t possibly-” He places his hand over mine and shakes his head. I wanted to scream ‘he doesn’t deserve this!’

Dear Diary #31,

We finished at the cafe and decided to head to the pool, I mean even though I have been avoiding Mortimer like the plague didn’t mean I wasn’t going. Christa made the perfect lunch for all of us, there was so much food and I had to keep an eye on Autumn to make sure my oreos didn’t disappear. I had a blast. There was a guy that I knew, all too well. He was a one date kind of guy, we knew each other briefly and it was alright. He pulled me up the stairs and kissed me! 

It was the grossest kiss I have ever gotten! It was sloppy and he more like drooled on my face than really kissed me. He pulled away and looked up at me like he just kissed an angel and I kissed a troll. 

“Shall we go?” He tried to sound seductive but it didn’t work. I wanted to punch him. I tugged my arm out of his hands and attempted to storm up the stairs only to be met with Mortimer and Bella hanging on to his arm. Mortimer glared daggers at him, and brushed past me and headed down the stairs. Bella was right behind him, sending me her classic bitchy smile. Damn that bitch.

Dear Diary #30,

Morning couldn’t have come sooner, I called up my girls and we booked it to the nearest cafe. I couldn’t stand being in the house with Mortimer and Bella with the thought of last night. I knew that Christa, who basically read through the whole time, has been in a similar situation. 

“I know it’s hard girl, but he kind of made it clear since Homecoming that he was going to have to marry her. It’s not like this is out of the blue, I know that this crushed you because you were so gung-ho about the thought of living out here with him”.Christa waited to see if I had anything else to say, but I continued to stare at the table. “However, I think you just need to make him see you are the better choice, cause clearly he is a blind toad”. We all laughed as Christa looked over the edge of her book. 

“What did you have in mind?” Autumn spoke up after finally deciding that her band-aid look perfectly fine on her face. 

“We should start a gang! I mean come on guys, we have everything needed to do it. The place, the fact that Marcus could hook us up at the Nightdock. We will be living the dream”.  Matilda spoke up from her awkward sitting position in the chair. I mean Matilda had a great point if we started out here we could make it big if not bigger.  

“Alright, let’s do it! We just need a name. Since we will be at the Nightdock, we should have a creepy name like Goblins”. I could help but smile at the name. 

“Boring!” The other three cried out in unison, Christa spoke up quietly.

“What about the Deck of Cards, it’s just the four of us. It could work”. We all looked at her. 

“THAT’S BRILLANT!!!” We all cheered, only to be hushed by the cashier.

Dear Diary #29,

I try to get down my room as fast as I can, but Mortimer was waiting for me outside of it. I wanted to punch him, I try to side step him and head inside, but he places himself firmly against me. 

“You ok, you look like you have been crying. What’s wrong?” He whispers as Zoe walks by, with her snotty glare. 

“Nothing, just tired”. He begins to kiss my neck. 

“You are lying, I can tell because you are sniffling”. I wanted to scream at him, I felt humiliated, here I was pressed against the door and once again Mortimer was trying to get inside my panties. 

“I SAID I WAS TIRED ALRIGHT!!?” I couldn’t contain my voice, how dare he touch me like I was nothing but a second-grade object. He lets go, he leans in close. 

“We are going to the pool tomorrow, goodnight Krystle”. He stalks off to his room and I crumb to the ground sobbing.

Dear Diary #28, 

I couldn’t wait to tell Mortimer my big plans for college that I was going to school to buy a place here in Widenburg. I sent him a text to meet me outside by the pool. I lead against the wall waiting for him to arrive when I heard Bella. 

“So are you and Krystle a thing?” Mortimer let out a snort. 

“Even if we were it isn’t of your concern, but you are- everything - to me”. I wanted to die, was I just the side girl. The girl that released all of Mortimer’s stress and anger out on?! I wanted to scream to hit him in the face. But I waited until I heard the door close. I look around the side and see no one is there and I run up the stairs to Susan’s room and hid in her bathroom. I couldn’t stop crying, I felt as I was finally hitting the brick wall.

Dear Diary #27,

I was so excited for today, Susan was letting us go out on our own for the day. I couldn’t even finish my breakfast I was so nervous. He mentioned going back to the bluffs. I raised my eyebrow at that, we had our homecoming there, I didn’t get why he wanted to go there. 

When we got there, I really need to get my mind more in the gutter. He strips off his shirt and I wanted nothing more to melt into the floor when he started unbuckling his belt. 

“Are you coming?” He calls over his shoulder I blush and nod, I ran behind a bush and strip down to nothing before slipping into the warm water. 

Swimming in the buff was interesting because it felt so good but embarrassing. We swam around until Sundown,feeling tired we got dressed and decided to sit and watch the last bit of the sunset. I couldn’t help myself, I sat in his lap, he held me against his chest. I looked up at him and couldn’t resist kissing this fool. 

I heard shuffling in the background, but I didn’t care. The kiss was short and he lead me down the path back to the mansion.

Dear Diary #26, 

The next morning came and it was the perfect day for a bonfire, at least that’s what Susan wants to do, with nothing much to do. I decide to at least touch my homework in hopes to pass the time. 

-5 hours later-

Time flew, not much happened Zoe came in and asked a few questions about the homework but other than that. The day passed without incident, we headed down to the bonfire. It was a lot bigger than I had expected but Mortimer whispered into my ear. 

“Remember, I promised that I would have a day of just us”. I felt my heart flutter, I held up my phone. 

“Let’s take a photo together, it will be fun”. I smile and he gave me his best smile.

Dear Diary #25,

I wake up to the sound of tapping on my window, I look to see Mortimer motioning me outside. I slowly get up blinking away the sleep as I walk outside into the thin morning dew. 

“What’s wrong?” I approach him and he lifts my chin, staring deep into my eyes. 

“Just didn’t want to be alone right now”. He smirks, what a sly comment. It almost as if we were back in the Willow Creek that night he fought J Huntington. I couldn’t help but smile and slyly reply.

“Is there anything I can do?” He wraps his arm around my waist. 

“Yes, just hold still..”

Dear Diary #24, 

After typing the last bit into my online diary, I hear loud noises coming from the window. I look behind me and see Mortimer and Bella screaming at each other. I could only hear bits and pieces of the conversation. 

“Where are they, Bella?!” I nearly jump out of my skin at the tone Mortimer was using. I have never seen him get that upset at anything. 

“Those disgusting magazines? In the trash, where they belong! Faithful my ass. You won’t touch me, but you dare keep those happily in your room?!” I could hear Bella starting to hiccup, she was probably sobbing at this point. 

“I won’t touch you because I can smell the thick layer of J Huntington’s cologne on your shirt and in your hair. You act as if I can’t smell it on your body?!” I felt as if I was listening on a private conversation. I couldn’t keep my eyes open and I fall asleep to their screaming.

Dear Diary #23,

I decided to approach him about it, but when I entered his room there were 5 black porno magazines stacked neatly on his bedside table and under on the little table. I crawled onto his bed curious about what he could be into, I mean did he study it? I couldn’t help but feed this naughty curiosity. Each magazine had post-it notes on different pages. So I decided I will start there, the first one called Spicy had only two post-it notes, one on a page that said ‘Do your girl gentle’, I couldn’t stop blushing as I read the page. 

“Clearly these girls weren’t being done gently” I flipped to the next one, it had a very provocative picture of a girl with every out in the open. 

“Are you up for a game of Round the World?” I didn’t understand how a game and sex could mix. I heard a cough next to me, I slam the magazine closed and looked up to be met with a very red Mortimer. 

“Ummm… don’t worry about that ok?” He looked very nervous, he only bit his lip and looked at the ceiling when he was embarrassed or nervous. Before I could ask him about it, Susan knocks on the door. 

“Dearies, I made some french toast and your friends have arrived”. I look at Mortimer who looked guilty, we followed Susan into the main room were Bella and Zoe sat on the couch. Bella ran and jumped up grabbing Mortimer’s arm. 

“Can you believe it?! I got into the same house as you again”. Yes.. yes, I can believe it. #fml

Dear Diary #22, 

After J Huntington disaster and the few hours in the police station, I was so happy that my siblings were MORE than willing to switch with me and stay in Oasis Springs. So Mortimer and I were transferred to the Windenburg Height Mansion with the lovable dear Susan. The first day we got there we noticed the cute pool in the back which was nice, Mortimer even snapped this picture of us while we were in front of the pool. Gosh I love this boy <3!

Dear Diary #21,

Later that night, the girls wanted to go out to the movies. Mrs. Leva which was our supervisor didn’t want them to go alone, so she tagged along. They asked if I wanted to, but I was too tired and was in bed by the time they had come by. I fell asleep, but I immediately woke up when I felt someone pressing down on my mouth and a vile of a strange powder was pressed against my nose. It smelled almost sour, but within seconds my mind was going a million miles an hour, my body felt as if the sun was exploding inside me. I slowly open my eyes and was met with J Huntington’s ice gray ones.

“I don’t see why he likes you so much, you aren’t that appealing but I bet it has to do with these”. He rips my shirt off and tugs on my bra. I scream at him to stop, but since everyone left I don’t know if anyone can hear me. I still don’t stop screaming and he rips off my bra.

“Don’t worry, the powder will take all your stress away”. My door is kicked open and Mortimer rushes in.

“What the hell is going on!? J! GET OFF HER!!” Mortimer drags him off the bed, I get up on my knees to see better, my arms snake around my chest to cover myself. J stands up, dusting the imaginary dust off his jeans. 

“You don’t deserve anything good, you are nothing but a snot nosed whiny rich kid-” Mortimer immediately punches him in the face, J was about to start to throw punches back. However, the girls had come back and Mrs. Leva was in the room in seconds. It only took a moment of explaining did she have J by the ear and out the door with her cell phone against her own ear. She stops in the doorway.

“Do you want me to have one of the girls stay with you”. I look up at her and shake my head, Mortimer began to leave but I grabbed his hand and tugged him back to bed. 

The drug made me want Mortimer so badly, luckily Mortimer was more than willing to accept his reward.

Dear Diary #20

We had just arrived at the Oasis Spring Mansion, it was beautiful. The gorgeous exterior and lovely old style interior made it just the perfect balance of gorgeous and old. We were allowed to choose our rooms since everyone was able to get the rooms rather quickly.

The second floor was taken by Mortimer, me, Zoe and Bella, which meant that J had to take the attic room. But he couldn’t complain about having his own bathroom. I had to share one with Mortimer, which was kind of scary, every fantasy of him walking in on me could be a reality and that just add on to, even more, nerves that I had.

Dear Diary #19,

It was the night before the big trip, I was beyond nervous. I tried my hardest to stay calm during our family dinner. My Mother was doing her usual run down of making sure that everything was packed for the trip.

“Did you pack your makeup set that your grandma gave you Olivia?” My Mother stared hard into the side of my sister Olivia’s head.

“Yes Mother, I even made sure to pack the little brushes that came with the kit, did brother remember to pack deodorant cause I would kindly like not for our room to smell”. My Mother’s gaze turned to my older brother Austin.

“Yes I did, I even packed a backup in case they lose my luggage”. My Mother smiled, pleased with the response my brother gave. My brother let a sigh of relief as my sister rolled her eyes and turned to me. 

“Mother I think it’s time we got Krystle some contacts”. I could hear the bitter sneer in my sister’s voice. I let a sigh, ‘so it’s all about appearance I see’. 

“Indeed, I mean she is such a pretty girl, it would be a shame if she didn’t show it off”. My Mother gave me her award winning gorgeous smile, I wanted to melt into the floorboards. I couldn’t tell my mom that I was a staying with two boys or else she would never allow me to get contacts. 

After a stop at the eye doctor and a nice kit for contacts, I was finally all packed for my trip. I was so nervous, I mean will everything go smoothly? I was stuck in a house with Bella and Zoe, so maybe if I just blocked them out of my mind while I was there everything will be perfect.

Dear Diary #18, 

Bella came and grabbed his arm and began to pull him towards her car. I couldn’t help but smile as I walked towards the park bench to wait for my sister to come and get me. 

“Wait- why don’t we drive Krystle home?” Bella shot a glare in my direction but didn’t say anything. I shook my head and sat down. 

“I am alright, my sister is coming to get me”. He smiles.

“Well text me when you get home, so I know you got home safely”. He waves towards me before getting into Bella’s car. Bella sticks out her tongue at me and gets in. 

‘What a bitch’, I thought as I began to play games on my phone.

Dear Diary #17,

I climbed up on the monkey bars and looked up at the stars. Mortimer came and sat next to me, he held onto my arm while wrapping his other arm around me. He started pointing out different stars and cool looking craters on the moon until his phone rang. It was Bella, he answered and all I could make out was a half-assed apology and her needing to see him. I tried not to roll my eyes, but I knew it wasn’t my business to pry. 

“She is coming to pick me up, but I want to stay here and be with you a bit longer”. I smile and slowly climbed down the monkey bars. 

“It’s ok, you will see me on the trip, remember? We can have all the time we want to hang out and do stuff”. He smiles and holds my hand as we walk towards the road. 

“That’s true, hopefully, I don’t bore you to death with all the stuff I have planned”. He winks at me as we hear the familiar sound of tires and blaring music. We look up and sure enough, it’s Bella in her red sports car. He gives me a hug as Bella gets out the car and walks towards us.

Dear Diary #16,

The seniors class trip was fastly approaching and I was super excited. Not only was I placed in Mortimer’s house, but my brother and sister were too. So for a week and a half, I get to spend time with not only Mortimer but my siblings as well. YAY GO ME! However, Bella wouldn’t stop complaining about how she wasn’t in the same house as Mortimer, so the teacher added her too. Big old crybaby. 

With only two weeks left before the trip, I got a call from Mortimer that he wanted to see me at Magnolia park. He sounded scared, I could hear it in his voice. The way it shook told me that something was very wrong. I biked down there as fast as I could and saw him under the street lamp, I walked up to him slowly. He just looked down at the ground, I approached him only to take a few steps back. His face was covered in cuts and bruises. I wanted to touch him but anytime I made an attempt, he would lean away from my touch. He places his hand on top of my head.

“I am ok, I just didn’t want to be alone right now”. He clearly was not ok, the way the cuts were bleeding down his face, the way he won’t always met my eye. He was embarrassed. 

“What happened?” I tried not to choke on my words, but it was next to impossible with the amount of wounds he had. 

“I caught Bella cheating on me, so I fought him and got a little banged up”, he was trying to make light humor, but his voice lost the punch it needed.

“Who was she with?” I tried not to pry but I couldn’t help but be a little curious. He looked down at the ground and mumbled 

“J Huntington, her brother called and asked me if I have seen Bella. But I haven’t, so I went out looking for her. I came down to the park and found her making out with him”. I wrapped my arms around his waist and pulled him close. 

“Is there anything I can do?” I look up at him, he gave me the first real smile tonight. 

“Yeah, stay here with me until I calm down”. I giggle and started to pull him over to the monkey bars.
