Curious Cat: Describing WonHui Friendship to Non-Shippers

they’re the sort of friendship that you cherish like a soft blanket on a chilly day, or a glass of ice cold lemonade in the summer. it’s simple, but less is more. they are the sort of friends who can spend an entire day sitting in a room saying NOTHING and yet still feel comfortable and relaxed. the kind of friendship that doesn’t tire you out, but instead the other person’s presence brings you comfort and support, makes you feel safe.

they’re also very weird together lol, but it makes them click. WW is very FOND, even when JN gets into his antics. most of the time, he’ll indulge him, but will also gently reign him back from being too much. JN is always ready to pull WW into his shenanigans, and 95% of the time, WW goes along.

the thing that sets wonhui apart from the other jun friendships for me is how accepting WW is of JN just the way he is. svt LOVE and ADORE JN, but they are also always ready to hype him up and nudges him forward, helping him expand his comfort zone, and whenever he does, they get so dang HAPPY (i’m emotional T_T). but WW… he doesn’t push JN (of course he hypes him up & wants him to be better more & more, duh), but it’s… different. prime ex: the WonHuiSoon VLIVE. WW wanted it to be Wonhui only but he knew that they won’t be able to provide enough talking, so he pulled HS in instead of forcing JN to talk more. WW is very indulgent when it comes to JN (offering to let JN play their games with a handicap during the 96z VLIVE), and it’s so precious T_T.

idk if i managed to describe the wonhui friendship accurately 😅 it’s difficult to put everything into words. you’d need to watch them interact to really get it. wonhui is more action than words. look at their little moments together, when they think no one is watching them. oh! and also CAT BOYS!!! 🤣

my go-to wonhui interaction??? it changes every time 🤣 currently, the one swimming in my head are the moments when JN reads/says something and turns to WW for approval, and WW gives him the little nod 🥺
