#chilam #weed #inNeemsar #anxioussearch#comestoanend #claycraft #historic#indianskill #indiancraftsman #incredibleindia #incrediblepeople We had reached Neemsar, a place of religious significance when we hit upon this spot, I would like to call and is in fact “The Chilam Shop”. I found the setting to be intriguing and bold, a scene which cannot go un captured. The person had no other item other than the Chilams to sell, which was a little surprising for me, because mostly selling pots and other big items is the major business of a hand craftsman with chilams being a kind of a add on. And when one showcases and sells a selected merchandise, you would expect the price to be high, but no, not here. You can buy 4 chilams in just 10 rupees! Though, I did not enquired about his profit margins and whether it is enough to get him going, it's pretty evident that the daily means and hardships he has to overcome just to keep going on in life is well beyond our imaginations.
