When you read the early comics for Hetalia, the fact that it got an anime adaptation is insane.

Because who in their right mind saw this thing and thought to themselves, "You know what this needs? This needs to be turned into a full-length animated series with 50+ episodes. And be sure to make them all about five minutes long!"?

Like, is this person doing okay mentally? I sometimes lay awake wondering how on God's green earth Hetalia even got an anime adaptation...

Because the whole thing is bonkers.
