A Fated Meeting
The fog was so thick in the air that it was a bit hard to see the other man as he slowly approached the young Baskerville. For a moment, the noirette garbed in dark purple seemed to meld with the fog but then he was clear as day to Hyde. The white-haired killer tilted his head and gave the boy a lop-sided grin, revealing his shark’s teeth a little bit. He asked in his natural, low, raspy voice,” Help me? Shouldn’t I be asking you that question? It’s not common to find a young boy such as yourself wandering the streets alone. Are you lost?”
Wow, this guy is seriously creepy. Leo thought, hearing that voice. It would send shivers down any normal person's spine. Luckily Leo wasn't a normal person so he wasn't unsettled by the voice, or even the sharp almost shark-like teeth.
Honestly he should be frighten--this was something straight out of a gothic horror novel. But instead, Leo saw this as an opportunity for some fun. It wasn't like everyday you meet an interesting fellow such as this person standing before him.
His lips turned up into a smirk. "No, I'm not lost, even in this fog I know where I'm going. I could ask you the same question." Throwing it back just like this man did with his former question. "You don't seem to be from around here."
"Excuse me!~ Can I get in the library to read a book?" Mary looked at the young man who sat down on the floor. "Ohh!!~ Hmmm... It's careless to read on the cold floor~!! You would catch a cold!~" She was totally worried and confused.
"Hmm." Leo looked up to see a girl, she was standing there bewildered. Why does she looked worried? She said something about catching a cold?
The young man slowly got up to his feet, and facing the other he smiled. “Don’t worry about me, I’m fine. And you wanted to get in the library? It’s that way.” He pointed behind him to the large double doors.
Mary test the appearance of the boy: A shaggy black hair, pair of glasses, a white skin and she couldn’t see under his bangs the mysterious eyes he has.
He looks like a good boy…the medusa thought to herself. But…it seems he have some unregulated troubles in his life. But-
"Thank you!~ But first…hmm… Can you tell me what are reading now? Do you like to read?~" Mary was really excited now. I want to know him more! I want to be his friend!~
Hmm, strange girl. Does she come here often? Leo thought to himself, wondering if he has ever seen this girl before. But this seems to be the first time meeting her--which was strange as how did she know about this library? Did someone tell her about it?
He guess it was best to find out from the direct source.
"Oh, I'm reading The Language of the Flowers. And I do like to read--a lot actually, hehe." The noirette smiled shyly. It was his favorite hobby. When he read he could escape from reality even if only for a little, to someplace safe and better than this world. But of course it was only temporarily. But Leo still loved what little solace he could take.
"What about you? Do you like to read?"
A Fated Meeting
Now today was really odd. Walking down this lonely street had definitely been a mistake--even a fog was starting to emit, clouding the already dark night.
Leo shook his head in disapproval at himself for deciding to take a walk at night. Who knows what kind of abnormal things he might run into?
Even now he could see a man walking through the fog, which was creepy enough, heading towards him. What now?
"Hello, may I help you with something?" Leo called out in the distance, hoping to stay away from the man.

Why has there been so many new people showing up lately? It was really strange. Now this odd man was standing here. Really where on earth were they all coming from?
"Hello there!" Leo waved a small hand. "How do you do?"
"These things just seem to happen, don’t they? Elliot gave in eventually, but we have to keep him away from the rest of the family."
Leo chuckled at the thought of his master petting the cat in secret. He’d seen the Nightray do so with Ada’s cats before. “I am sure he does such. He always gets so flustered if someone catches him.”
"That's going to be difficult, as you know cats love to move around and explore their surrounds. Good luck with that." The noirette grinned. Yes, it was going to take a lot of luck trying to conceal this little kitten. But perhaps his twin could pull it off.
"Yes he always does get embarrassed when he's caught petting a cat. Haha don't know why though, you would think he realized by now that he isn't fooling anyone, least of all us." Elliot was never particularly good at lying or hiding things from Leo.

Azure optics glanced over to the smaller boy in black and he blinked at him talking to him. Raven sighed quietly—a little too exhausted to be called out.
"I’m Raven, little one, one of the black feathered Chains that belong to Glen Baskerville."
'Little one?' was he that short? Or maybe he was referring to their age difference since--wait did he say he was a Chain?
Leo got distracted by a small detail and almost missed something crucial. This supposedly young boy was a Chain? It was amazing what kind of shapes they took. He never expected this kind of appearance but with the Chains, Leo should have learned by now not to expect anything, but to be surprised.
"That's funny that you mention that. I am currently the new Glen. Nice to meet you Raven. I'm Leo.
Elly was still little, but he was very affectionate. He meowed once and licked the hand currently petting him. Leo thought he was grumpy from being woken up, but he seemed fine in new company. “He’s cute, isn’t he. I found Elly out in the rain one night, and I took him in.”
Elliot had made a fuss about it when the noirette confessed sheltering the cat, but now Elliot didn’t seem to mind him at all.
"He's really cute." Leo smiled, liking the feel of the kitten's little tongue licking his palm. His fur was soft too. Just like Elliot liked them. If only he was here to see him.
"Heh, you found him in the rain? How cliche. But I can imagine Elliot didn't object. I bet when you're not looking he secretly pets this little guy. Haha."
"Does he approve of his name?"

A young boy around his age? But wait he didn't see..human for some reason. Why is that? Who was he?
"Why hello there! Who might you be?" Leo questioned.
Gilbert never saw what was so funny about his fear of the felines. People might understand a bit better if he actually opened his mouth about it, but even talking about it was traumatizing to the noir.
“Th…Th—There was one… that was around here…?" It was almost like his life simply drained from his body by that point, eyes staring off at the idea. Finally snapping himself to his sense, Gilbert swiftly glanced about himself just to make sure it still wasn’t near him before taking in a deep breath. He needed to calm down; there wasn’t anyting there.
Leo tried to contain his laughter, even though he felt like he could burst. Even though Gilbert was much older than Leo, he acted like a child sometimes. Some poor innocent child scared of the dark--well in this case cats. Such a pitiable thing to fear, something like cats. Elliot loved cats though he would never admit it. He had to pretend he like dogs for the sake of being a Nightray. I bet Gilbert didn't have much trouble pretending. Haha!
"Or maybe I was mistaken. It could have easily been some shadow of somebody. Or maybe I saw a ghost...?" Leo trailed off, placing a finger on his chin as if to look like he was thinking hard.

"Hmm." Isn't that Vincent's servant: Echo? What was she doing here?
Leo walked closer to her. "Hello. Echo was it? What brings you here?" He asked with a smile.
Vincent wasn't up to something right? He thought Vincent was following his orders.
Send the word 'Truth' along with a question and my character has to answer it honestly.
”I…I don’t know! I’m guessing just some dust…”
“Definitely not one of those animals!" Just the mentioning the word could even set his skin crawling in fear. Oh, his fear for them was certainly extreme, no doubt, even if sometimes he can suck it up other times not so much.
"Ha ha ha!" Leo laughed brightly, enjoying the expression Gilbert was making. He really was a big scaredy-cat, just like Elliot use to say.
"Okay, okay, so it wasn't 'one of those.' I just thought it would be since I did see a black cat pass through here a moment ago. Are you sure you didn't see it?" The noirette asked innocently, making up the lie that instant to see how the young lord would react. This was turning out more fun than he expected.
"Quite; he’s the only one that doesn’t prefer dogs and hides the fact. Hm? Oh, Elly is sleeping in the window. I’ll get him." Leo retrieves the cat, who merely yawns and squirms in his grasp.
"Dogs are okay, but I prefer cats more." He blinked hearing the cat's nickname. "Ha! That's such a cute name: Elly! Ever think about calling Elliot that? I bet his whole face would go red." Leo smiled brightly at the thought--it would be a funny sight.
Soon the other left and brought back the small cat. "Aww, hi little guy." His hand reached over to pet the top of its head.
