I keep seeing the singular panel of Kurt calling Wolverine "Liebchen" and people going nuts over it. So if we're going to say that's proof of him being in love with Logan then well.... I submit for evidence, the following:

Now you might look at the following and think, but he's saying she's like his sister! Well, have I got news for you. His long-time girlfriend Amanda Sefton is his sister (foster) Jimaine. So yeah, the whole "she's like a sister to me" bit means nothing to me.
And the following I present to show that actually he probably doesn't mean ANY of it in a romantic context because he's been calling her Liebchen since she was a child. Also my grandparents used to call me Liebchen all the time. I'm not German so I can't really say for sure but I have always taken this word to mean a term of platonic affection.
Don't worry. If you don't want to see this stuff, I'm pretty good about tagging anything kurtty so you can filter out what you aren't interested in. Unless it's mild or nominal, and then I don't bother, because it *is* canon that they're friends, so. This one is about their friendship though.
Let us begin with that time he tricked everyone into thinking he was betraying Excalibur just so he could get a jump on the bad guy trolls, but Kitty wasn't fooled.
Even when she was a kid, they were becoming good friends. As soon as she got over her fear of his appearance.
He wishes she wouldn't take risks.
She saves him a lot.

When she was trapped in the space bullet, he missed her terribly and no one seemed to notice because everyone was all, "Oh poor Piotr."
They hardly ever argue and when they do, they make up easily and quickly, by talking (or in Kurt's case, not talking).
When they had a fight over the phone about Kitty thinking she saw a (dead) Piotr, he felt bad and flew from NY to Chicago to make up with her, and also took her seriously after expressing doubt over the phone. He took the time to look up the things she'd suggested and see if there were any leads, and when he got there and she finally accepted that it wasn't Piotr she'd seen, he was there for her.
He got knocked out while searching for her and hallucinated her.
Aliens captured her once.
But he saved her.
Even during schism, there were no hard feelings between them.
He teases but it's affectionate.
And when Jean upset her, he was the first one going after her. Storm sent him away. Kind of like how she insisted on fighting Calisto over her even when Kurt had already challenged her to save Kitty.

They have been the best of friends for so long and it hurts to see these writers just throwing it all away.
This should be Kitty. I love Jubilee too, and I'm glad she's friends with Nightcrawler, but she has not typically been depicted as a close friend of his. Maybe it's refreshing for some people but for those of us who have been waiting years for Nightcrawler to be back with all his friends, it just sucks that this isn't Kitty.
