There was something about the dark haired girl that made the fur on her tail bristle. Something that put her on edge. Maybe it was a similar feeling–that there were similarities between them. Ahhh, she really didn’t want to think about that right now.
But her master had accepted her for who she was. Both of them, even after knowing who she really was. Though maybe this girl knew what was going on here?
“Say, you there~ Would you perhaps know why I suddenly found myself here, instead of the place I’m supposed to be? My master will be quite worried if the favorite Caster isn’t there, you see~!”
Clearly she didn’t pay any mind to the fact that a lot of people here probably didn’t have fox ears and a fox tail. Or maybe talked as much as she did.
It wasn’t in Kurumi’s way to be unprepared for something, but no amount of information gathering she did could have prepped her for this. Was she dead? No, Kurumi wouldn’t die that easily. And besides, if she were dead she would be in hell, and this place didn’t exactly fit the image she had of it in her head.
Scanning the room, she suddenly locks eyes with a girl--how cute, she thinks, looking at her ears. She doesn’t suppose they’re real, but if this girl is also a Spirit it wouldn’t be too much of a stretch.
The girl hesitates, then addresses her. Kurumi smiles and answers her in that typical lilting sing-song voice of hers, not breaking her cool facade despite the confusion she feels on the inside.
“Ara, ara~, I suppose we’ve found ourselves in the same predicament, haven’t we?” answers Kurumi.
“Since you’re the most adorable little thing, I’ll answer you. It appears we’ve been brought to a school of some sort--unsolicited, but that’s the way people are, aren’t they? Forcing things down our throats.” She pauses. “Although, I’ve never come across a Spirit such as you before. Tell me--who are you?”
