I never tire of stave churches. I love their unique architectural fusion, the dark wood and carved details on them. Rán. Sea goddess and wife of Ægir. She uses her fishing net to capture seafarers, dragging them deep into the ocean. Some sources say she loves gold and live in a great hall with her husband and nine daughters, decked with the precious metal.
