Supernatural - Prompt #2

Fandom: Supernatural

Characters/Pairings: Destiel

Prompt: A specific Marching Band AU I want to see is this. The band director of their hs disappears, and Michael is the drum major and in an intense rivalry with the first chair violinist in the orchestra, Lucifer. Some members, ie Anna and Gabriel, leave bc Michael. Anna was Cas old section leader, and now Cas is sl. They have to recruit from a small school with only concert band, hence Sam and Dean and some others.

Sasuke is a criminal mastermind with years of experience dealing with the Konoha Police Detectives, let alone a bumbling rookie named Naruto. Despite that, Naruto is put on the trail of Sasuke’s latest strings of crime, while Sasuke develops an interest in Naruto that borders on the obsessive…

Sly Cooper - Prompt #1

Fandom: Sly Cooper

Characters/Pairing: Cyrille le Paradox/Miss Decibel;

Prompt: Le Paradox and Miss Decibel meet again after they both reformed (writer needs to think up a legal reason for le Paradox leaving prison since he received a life sentence in Sly 4). Le Paradox revaluated his life choices and behaviour in prison and now tries to better himself. Miss Decibel is still naturally angry at le Paradox for using her and playing with her feelings and at first doesn’t want to hear his apology and and wants nothing to do with him at all. It’s up to the writer how they end up becoming closer. They first become good friends and then turn into lovers. The fic should also show them struggling with their new lifes and trying to work on their flaws which they let run wild during their criminal career. It should also show them helping one another with the above mentioned problems.

Dragon Age Origins: Mithra of the People - Prompt #1

Fandom: Dragon Age: Origins

Characters/Pairing: Mithra (additional characters and OCs as the writer deems fit)

Premise: Mithra is a dalish hunter in Keeper Zatharian's caravan. She is the first dalish the Warden meets when the Warden comes with ancient treaties compelling the elves to help battle the Blight. Mithra is suspicious and guarded, her first concern the well-being of the clan, which she places above her own life. 

After the Grey Warden and their companions perform a great service for the clan, the dalish agree to honor the treaties. Mithra remains leery at the prospect of placing the dalish clans in the midst of human armies but as a warrior she is eager to show the shem the skill and might of her people.

Mithra’s fate during the Battle of Denerim is never touched upon after the Warden leaves the Brecilian Forest in search of more allies, so the intent of this fic is to chart Mithra’s journey. She starts as a skilled but simple clan hunter but must become a leader. She must struggle against ingrained prejudices as she fights alongside humans. The dalish have been scorned and oppressed by humans after centuries of slavery destroyed their culture, yet Mithra must watch her people perish in droves for what some believe is a human war. Her core faith is challenged. (Mithra’s attitude or opinions should change by story’s end, though it needn’t be a warm and fuzzy, nor colder and harder; that is up to the writer)

Yet Mithra must hold the fractious elven clans (not to mention humans) together with tears and blood if there can be any hope to survive the Archdemon’s armies at Denerim. She may form friendships, rivalries, and enemies in surprising places during her quest. Ultimately, when Mithra is embroiled in the battle at Denerim, it is the culmination of her revelations along the way that help her choose between the past or future of her people, and make the sacrifice necessary to secure it. (this is deliberately ambiguous so the writer can choose an ending)

Mithra of the People is born, a tale to be shared around campfire the eve before a battle, a dirge at the feet of a fallen friend, a promise whispered by steel.

I totally understand where you're coming from, but I'm sorry I don't think we can logistically do that.

There's only two of us running this blog, and while we're both involved in a lot of fandoms, there is no way we're going to be familiar with all the fandoms prompts are submitted for. We get a lot of prompts from fandoms I've never even heard of, and in order to screen prompts for things like that we'd have to do a lot of searching that neither of us really have the time for. 

So really the only thing we can do is trust that anyone submitting prompts for fic that includes things like that (or any other triggers really) will add it to the warnings section, or include notice in the prompt some way that it includes that.

I hope that made sense! I really do understand where you're coming from, and I hope you understand why it would be really difficult for us to screen every prompt that we get.

Captain America - Prompt #1

Fandom: Captain America / Marvel Cinematic Universe

Characters/Pairings: Bucky Barnes, Steve Rogers, Natasha Romanoff, Hydra!Bucky, Clint Barton, Bucky/Nat and/or Steve/Nat

Prompt: I’d love to read a fic (one-shot should work, unless someone decides they want to make it longer) about Bucky and Steve both working for Hydra as assets, since Hydra found Steve in the ice while Howard found the tesseract. Bucky and Steve would both be successful parts of Project: Winter Soldier and even though Hydra was going to keep them apart, they found that Assets 1 and 2 had a compulsive need to protect each other and did not work as effectively on their own or with other partners, so they’re assigned together, although the brainwashing worked better on Bucky so he is sent out alone sometimes.

They would be working for a while and eventually meet Black Widow (MCU version but with a comics/Red Room background) and even though they’d fight, eventually Hydra and the Red Room started working together and they learned that both Assets were strangely willing to work with the infamous Black Widow, so they became a three-man team. Plot is up to the author, i just love the idea of Hydra!Bucky and Steve, but the pairing would be Bucky/Nat and/or Steve/Nat. No Stucky, except uber-bromance. Maybe their conditioning starts to break down, or Nat goes to work for SHIELD, reencounters both of them in the modern day, and defects to track them down and help them after learning who they really are? Clint could be part of it, too.

So basically, we'll put a link to the fill on the prompt itself (if you want to fill something that's already been filled, that's completely ok btw!)

We'll also put a link on our sister site, Fic I Got, which will be tagged with fandoms and the tag specific to the prompt so it's easy to find if it is filled. 

You can either submit the fic itself to Fic I Got, or you can submit the link to it hosted on another site (like ff.net or ao3 or your personal blog or anything else really)

One other thing we want to do is, each month, once we've got enough traffic and enough people writing, we want to have a monthly poll that results in a promo for an author that's written awesome stuff from our prompts!
