✮ ⋙ Okay, so that name was funny. Caboose loved it, at           least. The old joke from Freelancer was lost when           he’d gotten a new helmet, though. They really           couldn’t expect him to find his old one though,           could they? She’d lost her old one, after all, and           the signature ‘expressions’ that had come with it.

        Things like that were just little reminders left of a           time that was far, far beyond recovery. It was           amusing, but the small grin on her face only lasted           a moment.

        After all, she’d been ‘dead’ too - and, like Sharkie,           she’d come back to see everybody she cared about           killed. She’d spent some time thinking, after talking           with Epsilon, and… She understood, to an extent.

        Kimball could take or leave her opinion, obviously,           but Carolina was a tactician at heart. Even if a lot           of her tactics were… Questionable, when it came to           conventional means.

Kimball was taken aback.

“You... Dropped a skyscraper on him... and he survived? How?”

She understood that the ex-special agents had probably seen their share of people just like Sharkface, Felix, and Locus.

“But thank you for the warning, Carolina. I’ll be sure to be on the lookout. From what you’ve said, he’s not easy to miss. I’m just glad to have you here during all of this. These people are bad news, and I don’t think either of these armies are ready to handle this on their own.”

   (I wish there was a more sea-foamy gem available but alas–)

   (Anyway, this one is designed more in a focus of how Lina views Kimball than of the relationship as a whole, especially since, to Lina, it’s still more of a dream than reality. The light blue gems in the center are supposed to be the eyecatchers, with the silver (again, lina’s accent color, even if she kinda ditched it on chorus and during most of S10 (though I maintain that it’s still there for REASONS)) holding it up - Lina’s way of saying ‘I’ll support you’. The darker blue is. Supposed to represent Lina but I couldn’t find a good gem option so it’ll have to do, and the coppery-tan color is supposed to be the ‘base’ of Kimball’s armor, and the ‘base’ of the ring.)

   (Basically Lina’s entire thought process making this one is “I’ll support you”, so while it may not represent the relationship as a whole… It’s a thing.)
