hi^^ i'm going to the final and want to stay on a budget but i'm vegan. is it possible to eat vegan food in tokyo? i am worried i won't find much or it'll be too expensive. thanks!
Yes! There is yummy vegan food in Japan.
You can get really delicious, locally produced fruit at grocery stores. You can also find vegan version of popular snacks. Hereās an article with some: https://www.timeout.com/tokyo/shopping/best-vegan-desserts-and-snacks-in-japan
IKEAs in Tokyo also have a lot of super cheap vegan foods. You can get plant based soft cream for „50 per cone.
If you canāt read Japanese , Iād recommend avoiding packaged food unless you can look up the ingredients online with a translator or itās marked as 100% plant-based. Even things like salad dressing and natto often have egg or bonito in them for flavoring.
Are there any funny confessions from the guys? I think you had a similar post
I donāt think they usually confess things? Iām not sure.
are you going to the final? :D
Hopefully! I still donāt have my flight booked yet.
Hi! I would really love to know about Kai. Even if the information is too little.
Anything you have really. Thanks š
I really donāt know much about Kai, and I really donāt have any interest in him.
i had fun scouring through media clips on your blog, i hope the move goes well for you. rather than a specific question, i guess, since you're deleting the blog anyway, was there something you wish you shared or didn't share?
Thank you! Iām glad you enjoyed reading through the blog.
Thereās so much content I wish I had shared⦠Aoiās BBS posts from when he was in Artia/Melville, radio tidbits, and all of the old live reports Iāve translated.
Itās amazing that thereās over 23 years of GazettE/pre-GazettE content now. I find it crazy that I can just sit here reading stuff Aoi wrote in 2000. Thereās something so nice about seeing that he still has the same sense of humor, weird style of grammar, and interests.
I wish I could find content from the other members from way back then. With Maho shutting down, Iām afraid anything that existed is gone now.
Who is Natsu? Also in Tanuki they talk about where the other members live?
Natsu is the drummer from Nocturnal Bloodlust. Heās good friends with Kai.
Iāve never really paid that much attention. I donāt really look at current rumors. The stuff from NLSG and before is way funnier.
the tanuki forums mention anything about members' activities outside the band's activities?
There was a lot of interest around Aoiās record label that failed in 2020ā¦? 2021ā¦? I canāt remember what year it went under.
Besides that, people will occasionally mention where they see the members. Fans thought Kai lived in Setagaya for a while because he was seen wandering around there all the time, but Natsu confirmed he lives in Roppongi. I think their āsecret baseā is probably whatās in Setagaya.
The members talk about what they do in their off time far more than fans do.
do you think you could maybe do posts on each of the members like the one you did on Aoi? it was very informative and well written so thank you!
also i wish you all the best in the new country!
I can try! Thereās not much information about Kai, but I think I can do one for Ruki and a combined one for Reita & Uruha.
Thank you so much for wishing me the best! Iām really nervous.
It really makes me sad to see you say you are leaving and deleting your account. I have only just found this blog and wish you well in new country.
Btw, I would like to ask if the site tanuki is still going on now? Do we still have a way to get to the site?
Thank you so much!
I should have gotten rid of this blog ages ago, but Iām sappy and sentimental.
Tanuki is still active, and thereās archives of old threads laying around. Just Google ā5ch vtanukiā, and you should find it.
