Has your interpretation changed from when you first started playing the character?

Yes. When I first started playing Shunsui, I thought he was just some lecherous, lazy guy who had too much free time and shirked his obligations. Now I realized that he shirks his obligations, but he’s not as simple as I thought. He’s often looking out for his friends, his family, his subordinates and it’s often at the cost of his own well-being. He’s a very diverse character with multiple facets that I love playing and grow to love more and more every day.
