On amazing digital circus we saw a start of what looked like a program being fed data/information. It looks like it was the start of making Caine, and the little red dot that was behind a wall was a virus… a firewall that was meant to protect Caine’s function… the virus was bobble. It’s why when it whispered to Caine the negative thoughts you Caine that caused him to break in this recent episode.
But now with Caine deleted, bobble was still there. So is bobble in control?
It’s another Hollow Crack theory, but I think the Parasites are exactly that, parasites - but in this specific case I’m thinking more literally.
Spoilers for most recent Starbound lore (29.1)
The thing that makes the worms a parasite is because they take from the host. Parasites in the simplest form offer no benefit to the host organism and actively harm them to gain benefit, even if that is just receiving nutrients at the cost of the host.
We see that this appears to be the case when Mi-go is looking after Vesper. Vesper requires so much more care and attention and nutrients than Tad does and then we find out she’s wormed. The parasite is literally stealing the nutrients Vesper needs.
Then we also have Evren and Asri talking about the discolouration (desaturation) that occurs to hosts - I think the specific mention is that it’s happening faster than usual.
So, I have a theory that the desaturation that occurs to the host is a sign of the host reaching its limit. That the parasites aren’t just parasites because they take over the hosts but because they eventually kill the hosts and that’s what’s happening to Evren and Asri. I think it’s also sped up by damage - that’s why new parts grown are always grey.
I think that might be why Nerve was so set on evolving and changing because he knows there’s a time limit.
It might also be why they’ve suddenly got more active. They didn’t wait for Aura to slip up they planned for a way to get star. They are actively attacking people and blowing things up to make people desperate enough to join.
The parasite has to spread because if it doesn’t the host will die and it could die too. Epsilon even says that the parasites have “wiped out entire planets” not taken over wiped out.
I think, the parasites are going to kill their host.
I agree with this. Also to add, we keep being told they’re not a hive mind. Yet now Asri can talk to aura? That makes no sense unless that’s just their parasite taking asri’s voice to trick aura. Which I will concede if that’s the case. But then we have vesper who also has her own parasite then also nerve keeps popping into others heads. How does that work if not the head of a hive mind?
This is just a big theory of how each of the saja boys died. Now this will be a DARK tale for each of them. So,
Warning for: blood, sexual themes, suicide, child abuse and self deprication!!!!
Now that thats out of the way… starting with Abby cause he's my most tame of the theories I have.
Abby was born in the orphanage and stayed with it for most of his life taking it as a duty to protect it. But unfortunately he was not the built mass of muscle we know. He was scrawny and tall. So when gwi-ma started whispering in his ear of saying hes not strong enough to protect the ones he cared for like a family. So was given the muscule to take on the corrupted lords men who kept terrorizing the kids and staff. But even strength can’t fight a natural disaster… a fire started and burned the orphanage down, and in Abby’s despair he walked into the burning building and burned with them. But his soul was already forfeit.
Now to mystery, his life was one of neglect and mistreatment from his parents. He was treated like an animal more than a child. Left in the pen with the dogs to fend for himself. His hair was always unkempt. No one knew of his birth. Everyone in his village assumed his mother had a misscarage. He felt more at home in the literal dog house than in a bed. And even his social skills were more that of a dog then a human. When gwi-ma spoke to him. It almost felt like someone understood the child feeling alone and abandoned. Gwi-ma promised to never do so to him. And give him the ferocity of the beasts that his family treated him as. And so gave an early demon strength and savagery that we know mystery to slip into the barking is only a warning… the only warning you’ll get before he strikes. So if anything its good that Zoey was not afraid of his “odd" behavior. When he did make his deal he killed his parents first then killed most of the village that did see him. That knew of his mistreatment and did nothing to help the child. Before the Lord of the land had him put down.Â
Next, my favorite guy… Romance… oh boy!Â
Romance has tried most of his life well… finding romance but being someone with very pretty feminine features it's hard not being seen as something either too pretty or like a whore. The latter of which Ro experienced more than he'd like to admit. But at least it was attention. Not in the best way obviously. But he felt seen he was being “cherished" in a way. But he knew it wasn't what he looked for. It was a short lived, one night stands. And it never paid for long. That is until gwi-ma promised that he could be seen by someone of power and prestige. And Romance wanted nothing more than to be loved. He found his way into the palace, a love growing with the Lord's son… but then the markings started to show. And he was starting to be feared by the palace guard and his now former lover had him executed.Â
Baby…. Oh baby… he's one I have no idea for… honestly don't know what to do with him… if anyone has a suggestion I will add it here with an edit to this post. Or add him to his own post.Â
And that's it. If you have any suggestions of what I could add or change with these theories of deaths leave a comment.Â
I think, over the years that I've been doing content creation, I've made it pretty clear that I don't participate in or promote online discourse unless it's absolutely necessary.
I think a majority of it is unneeded in a public setting and can usually be handled privately, and I have bigger things to worry about than jumping into internet drama. All of us do, with the current state of the world.
But! This has gotten to the point that it's affecting people I care about, and myself, in very real ways. So I'm getting involved. Buckle up! This is going to be a long one!
Hi! If you don't know me- my name is Abraxas. I'm 23 years old, I use he/any pronouns, I have two platonic partners that I love and care for with my whole heart, I've just started my journey on HRT, and I'm one of three co-owners of Wild West SMP, alongside Bite (B17TEN) and Sen (SenTreats).
I need everyone to first understand the bottom line of what I'm saying with this post.
No one is saying that community members can't have opinions.
No one is saying that community members can't disagree with and challenge the media they consume. As consumers, as fans, as a community, that is their right. In fact, they SHOULD be doing exactly that- because we currently live in a scary world where AI is replacing people's cognitive thinking skills.
Kids can't read anymore. Adults- doctors, lawyers, therapists- are asking ChatGPT how to do their jobs. Or to straight up do it for them.
Our brains are turning off because we as a society have been spoonfed this rhetoric that AI is the future.
Spoiler alert. It's not. WE are the future.
And we have a responsibility to that future- to ourselves IN that future- to preserve our skills in media literacy, and preserve our ability to think for ourselves.
That being said.
What WAS being said, and what I'm reiterating;
We can challenge the media we consume without being cruel to the people who created it.
There is a difference between constructive criticism and critique- which is incredibly helpful to both the creators and the community and exercises our brain's ability to think critically- and someone just being mean because they don't like someone else.
For the past few days, everything that I've seen has been the latter.
I have been watching people tear into both this passion project that I'm lucky enough to love and co-own, as well as Bite, who has poured countless hours, blood, sweat and tears into making this server something that people can enjoy despite the challenges we've faced with it.
And yes, there have been incredible challenges. There always are challenges when it comes to doing something for the first time, especially on a scale this massive. But we work through them anyway and we learn the best we can, because we love this thing that we've created and we want to see it through to the end.
We, as creators in this space, tell stories through the medium of Minecraft. Which, if you've never done it, is very difficult! There are unique challenges that we face using this medium- one of them is the limitations of Minecraft itself as a game. There are things that we can't do easily- we have to get creative with it if we have an idea that breaks the limitations, and that requires getting even more heavily involved and invested than we would be. Just like with any other storytelling media- we pour our hearts and souls into what we make. Cutscenes, animations, concept art, backstories, you name it.
The community doesn't see 90% of that work. They don't see what goes into making every single decision in this space. They don't often see the very real emotions that affect a lot of what we do and put out into the world.
And if someone is in a position where they do see some of that work, some of those feelings and reasons- I can guarantee that they still don't see the majority of it.
We are real people, behind these screens that everyone seems so glued to nowadays. Just like everyone else.
And, just like everyone else, we're also affected by things that are said, no matter how hard we try to disconnect ourselves from the content we make. We have lives, emotions, feelings. And we are so lucky to have a community that understands that, and is incredibly accomodating.
But, sometimes, things like this happen. Someone says something and someone else interprets it in a way that it wasn't meant and, for lack of a better metaphor, fires the gun. Things get misconstrued and exaggerated. Accidents and mistakes occur.
And then we end up here, in a seemingly endless loop of back and forth negativity that leaves everyone feeling awful.
A loop that, at the end of the day, will not matter. Because life is more than the internet.
There is no villain here. This is not one of our stories. This is real life, we are all just people doing our best, and we should be acting like it.
Please, community and creators alike, have your opinions. Voice them. Be loud, be silly, be upset, have your headcanons, have your fix-it fics, have your au's and your rarepairs and your fluff and smut and whatever else you want- because that's what fandom is about. Challenge the media that you consume, as is your right.
But please, be kind and respectful to the creators behind it, while you do it. We don't know if there's a deeper reason why things happen or not.
The next bit of this requires some background information about Wild West SMP. Which I will give you.
Wild West SMP was started as a passion project between Bite and Sen, in the hopes that they could, along with a massive group of creators and individuals working behind the scenes, create a cohesive story that relied on improv, anarchy, and lore aspects all combined into one. They accepted applications, and went into going through them with the intent of creating a mixed cast. Some with larger followings who have told many stories in this medium before, some with medium-sized followings who are looking to branch out, and some with smaller followings who are either also looking to branch out or who might even be completely new to this space.
They accomplished that. Wild West ended up with a massive cast of about thirty active players that ranged in following from less than two hundred to more than ten thousand. And that's an incredible thing.
I was brought on as one of these players, and since then I have seen both the player and the administration perspective. That's an important note for what I'm going to say next.
With some of the cast being newer, and the space of WW being what it is, some things get missed. We've experienced everything from cast not knowing how to communicate with each other to lore overlapping and getting in each other's way, we've seen it all and have always tried to do our best when it comes to rectifying these issues. But, as we are human, we are not perfect.
There was an incident recently involving a couple of characters' lore that involved the incredibly heavy topic of suicide. This is not a topic that is new in the world of storytelling, nor is it new to the world of Wild West- but it is still a sensitive one and should always be treated as such.
The content creators involved in this lore did not intentionally or maliciously trick anyone into watching or participating in this. They are newer to this specific space, and they are not used to putting up proper trigger warnings for things like this. They have since been better informed, and going forward there will be proper trigger warnings in place in the case that something like this happens again in our stories. Which, as we all know about Middle-Of-Nowhere Island, is a possibility.
I'm sorry that this was not brought up sooner within the community.
I'm attaching resources to this post so people can find them and use them, if they need to. Please take the time to flip through them, and if you have any further resources that I either failed to find or forgot about, please leave them in the notes.
For the entirety of the server's duration we have always done our best to have continuous improvement. I think we've continued to have that, despite new issues that pop up, and as we shift into the ending of the server we're going to take everything that we've learned with this as our first major project and we're going to make sure that moving forward into future projects, we don't make the same mistakes. This whole thing has been a massive learning experience, and we're forever grateful for you all, as the community, granting us the grace and opportunity to do that learning.
None of this would be possible without you.
Now. I'm going to go spend some time in the real world with my IRLs, and I'm going to continue to reflect on what I've said here while I do it. I encourage all of you to also go do things you enjoy with the people you care about- we only have the one life to do so.
You'll hear from me again later đź’™ Take care. And be kind.

I had a thought of a scenario that could happen. But mostly I just want slight drama and for the team to show they love and know Markos well enough, to know when someone has switched places with him.
So what if Alister came back hid Markos and as the group is about to head out alister slips and Arlos is the first to realize his potential love has been switched and we get an angry Arlos slam Alister against a wall in an angry way to demand Markos back.
Poor Theseus just wants their friend back. But buddy, he sent infected after you without a word… also just shipping thoughts I love the idea of ryune/theseus and Daelan/ Theseus.
The fact it’s become a running joke that ratchet has a hard on for machines makes me laugh every time. I mean we could pick on manes about having a thing for being hunted by a pretty tiger. Or iv liking to run with other teams?…. I need to think better on that last one.
When wyn had his nightmare. I didn’t think it had anything to do with the void monster… i genuinely thought is wyn pregnant? XDD I know that’s not the case but I was hoping something happy.
Epsilon soon told Navi about the parasite and feeling trapped again in its old directive. And in its frustration punched a wall cracking it. Almost scaring Navi and making epsilon fear he could hurt it.
I see a lot of people get confused on what the hunter you play as uses to free zoh Shia. It’s the carving knife you use to carve each monster. Why has this been a common confusion?
I’m scared for the worm taking over Asrickus. I mean what will it make them do to their relationship with Aura? I fear it’ll make Asri push Star away.
Evrens and Romeo’s relationship is about to get really interesting. Cause they already have a misunderstanding between them (mostly on Romeo’s side but still)
Cause Evren isn’t gonna remember any interaction he has well possessed. And based on how Romeo reacted when they thought Ev was simply ignoring them that’s only going to hurt their relationship.
Evren clearly want to spend some time with Romeo, coming up with different excuses to see her (“helping” with the pen, going out to find bees despite have some at home, specifically wanting Romeo to help build the axolotl pond) and chat knows this and will likely encourage it. Especially when it now knows Vesper can see through it, it’s one of the other closes relationships he has.
So when it seems Evren keeps just forgetting interactions with Romeo it gonna drive a wedge between them. Romeo is going to take it personally and probably distance themself from Ev cause clearly he doesn’t actually care for her. But to Evren it’s gonna look like someone he thought he was getting close to keeps talking about things that never happened and keeping him at a further length than when she was hunting him.
The way vesper finds out Tad works for coil is as they’re kissing ves’s hand accidentally knocks her badge out of his pocket, and when they break to see what it was vesper sees.
