Arland Humfry was born in the creekville central hospital to parents Hamish and Erica Humfry Both deceased after his birth due to a car accident when his time was ready to leave the Hospital. After his parents death his Grandmother Freya Bogard took him in and raised him until he turned 7 years old when Freya caught an unknown sickness and passed away leaving him alone with no one, and was put in the foster care system and bounced home after home being bullied by the kids at school, ignored by the foster parents who only had him for the money, until he landed into the arms of a woman named Kera Alberg and was supposedly with the system and took him in under her care. When Arland turned 12 Kera took him to what looked to be a different hospital and left him, in actuality the hospital was a science test facility and Kera had sold him to be a guinea pig, a test subject.
When Arland went to the labs operating room the scientists told him that he had the same sickness as his grandmother, but they were lying to him, to his face.
For the next months they had constantly performed tests, and opened and closed him, altering his genetics, it was all painful, no birthdays, no being a kid, he's just a test subject and whenever his birthday comes around, he would quietly sing to himself. Wanting his parents, his grandma but… he lost them, and the adults that told him that he can trust them had back stabbed him and lied to him.
When he turned 17 the scientist had considered him a failure and had given the order to euthanize him, when a scientist had gotten the syringe and poison to kill him, he was sleeping but when he saw that they were planning to kill him in his sleep he finally had enough and grabbed the scientist face and slammed it on the floor and tearing it off blood splattering the small room he was put in.
The entire facility had gone on full lockdown as Arland's body was changing, his hands turned into claws, he grew a tail and bat like wings and his body turned pitch black and his eyes were white as he grew more feet in height almost touching the ceiling, the security tried to put him down but he took them out, He then went after the scientist that took advantage of him and messed with his body and genetics in the name of “science” and brutally kill them.
After he was finished, he went to the silo doors and forcefully opened them and escaped the facility and ran on all fours into the woods. When he stopped, he turned back into human and looked at his hands, he killed those people and ate them.
He couldn’t come to terms with it as he sat on a rock looking at his reflection, he's…… gone. A child turned to a Monster.
He doesn't want to kill; he doesn't full trust adults, he still has a kind heart and passionate about keeping others safe
