The King sighs and closes his eyes, feigning concentration, but inside – he’s TORN. Lips curve into a frown before he clears his throat. “Do you mean that?”

          ‘i wouldn’t say it if i didn’t mean it.’ when had he ever SPARED feelings when he spoke? he withheld a sigh of exasperation, crossing his legs as he continued thumbing through the notes from the latest MEETINGS in his careful, sharp longhand. he looked up towards pagan, raising his eyebrows.
