Ā Ā Ā āTheyāre almost done! I promise, I wonāt make you wait that much longer,ā Paris called out from the kitchen of his apartment, reassuring the person in the living room that the pastries would be on the way in due time. He wasnāt sure how he convinced them to taste test for him, but he was so glad that they had agreed to it. He had wanted someone with an unbiased opinion to tell him what they really thought. And besides, he didnāt think that they would be disappointed. A few moments later, he was placing a few different plates on a large tray and carrying it out to the living room.Ā āAlright, here we go.ā He sat it on the table, before pointing out the pastries.Ā āIāve got turnovers, lemon squares, brownies with fudge inside, cannolis, macarons, and cinnamon rolls! Thereās some more stuff in the oven, but they wonāt be finished for a while, so until then you can just snack on these.ā
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā if eunjae was struggling with four bags of groceries ( courtesy of his grandmother, who had texted him the longestĀ list he had ever seen ), that was really no one elseās business but his. however, it hadnāt stopped him from huffing in annoyance, hands pulling at the bags & stopping every few seconds to catch his breath. ā stupid, heavy bags ! ā he snapped in english, dropping them with a thumpĀ & taking the opportunity to collapse against the staircase, taking up as muchĀ space as possible. when he felt settled, he pulled his phone out, switching to a playlist & letting it play ( & he veryĀ much intended to lieĀ there for as long as possible, until someoneĀ came along to do the rest of the work for him ).
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Coming home from work with flour and dough all over his shirt was no an uncommon occurrence for Paris. It just showed that he was getting hands on with his work and that he was dedicated to his art. And in his eyes, and in the eyes of many other people, baking was an art. It took a lot of time and precision and talent, like most other forms of art. He dug around in his bag as he walked into the apartment building, looking up when he saw a foot blocking the steps.Ā āOh.ā He looked up, seeing the other male, and noting the bags that had been dropped next to him.Ā āDid you need a hand?ā It was only right to ask, and plus - he didnāt mind helping out.
itās just a small library so as one of the few employees he enjoys a certain amount of freedom. he canāt go more than a few minutesĀ really without snacking, whether itās fruit or a bag of chips. heās just always been the type that would eat ridiculous amounts of food. heās gotten a kick out of finding different places to hide his food and the older staff members have stopped giving him questioning looks when heās grabbing his snacks out from an obscure hiding location. today heās crawling underneath a table and thereās the distinct sound of tape ripping. he emerges with his arms full of bags of candies and chips. standing up he just starts listing off options,Ā āiāveĀ got hot cheetos, sour patch kids, reeseās, kit-kats. basically just a lot of stuff iāve been having trouble finding here and etcetera. did you know that reeseās are pretty expensive here?āĀ
āAre you sure weāre even allowed to eat in here?ā Paris questioned, a little bit skeptical of the offer. He knew that libraries were notorious places for kicking people out for snacking inside of them, and he really didnāt want to be thrown out. The library was one of the only places where he could really find peace of mind and actual quiet. But as soon as the other male began rustling underneath the table, his curiosity was piqued and he quieted down, watching closely as he unveiled a bag full of a candy.Ā āI havenāt eaten this stuff since I moved here to South Korea.ā He sighed, reaching for one of the bags of hot cheetos.Ā āCan I have this? And trust me, I know how expensive it is. And itās really hard to find. Howād you find them? Whereād you find them, is more like it actually.ā
THE LARGE POOL looked like the nile river with people celebrating and dancing near the edge with loud music. even now at night, it looked amazing with itās bright lights under water and groups of people in it or floating on animal or food shaped objects. yejin on the other hand, sat on the edge of a quiet corner, observing with her legs in the water. the other swam closer with a smile on their lips. āno, Iām not getting in. I refuse.ā she said, lightly splashing water at them. her heart raced a little bit, knowing that 1. she canāt swim nor float and 2. there arenāt any life guards and most of these people are tipsy. āthis is almost a life or death situation.ā
āARE YOU SURE you donāt want to come in?ā Paris didnāt want to spend the whole night swimming by himself. And it wasnāt as though the water was that deep. When he was standing flat on his feet, it came up to his chin - although he supposed that that would be a little bit too deep for Yejin.Ā āIām not going to let you drown or anything like that. Do you really think I would let you get hurt?ā He frowned, pouting at her.Ā āYou can get up on my shoulders if youād like?ā
hey guys, itās tj (aka judasā mun) and iām here with a new muse. the complete opposite of judas, so this should be fun lol. under the cut thereās some things you should know about him, and if youāre up for it, just like this and iāll message you for plots. stats | connections
his birth name is ye kyu jin, but he was born and grew up in the states, so he has an american name. his mother was and still is obsessed with mythology, so his western name is paris, after the prince of troy. his brother is named hector.
he had a pretty normal childhood up until the time he was five. thatās when his parents started making him audition for things. they lived in l.a., so there were always opportunities to be discovered. they would force him to do auditions for commercials and for tv shows and movies. whenever he lost out on a role to another child, his parents would beat him.
as he grew, he discovered that he had a knack for singing and dancing, so his parents decided to hone in on those talents and began pushing for him to audition to labels around the world. he was finally accepted by one and was brought in to a south korean label based in los angeles. he auditioned for them in front of the recruiter, and all things were going well until the recruiter decided he wanted something a little extra for paris to make it to the next level. his parents had no troubles letting this happen, and it happened a few times before paris finally spoke up and said no.Ā
he threatened to tell someone who could help him, but the threats were empty because he was too scared to. the company that was going to sign him didnāt know that though, so they dropped him like a hot potato, something that made his parents very upset and they began pushing him to work harder and harder.Ā
when he was sixteen years old, he had decided he had enough and wanted out. he didnāt want to deal with his parents anymore, so he started the process of emancipation, and a few months later he was officially a legal adult. his older brother was a few years older than him and already living on his own, so he didnāt have to worry about him.Ā
after becoming emancipated, he got his GED and then got a job so he could start putting himself through college. it was a struggle at first, but with the help of scholarships and online classes, he eventually got his college degree in music education.Ā
he got a job at a performing arts school when he was twenty and worked there for years up until recently. he had gotten a call telling him that his grandmother passed away and had left everything to him and his brother. everything being money that is. money that he had to move to south korea to claim. so he packed up and moved to jinhae. it wasn't much money, especially because he had to split it with his brother. so he basically just went from being dirt poor in america to dirt poor in south korea lmao
while he was teaching at the performing arts school, he had discovered his love of baking. heād always been a good baker and chef, but he never got to experiment and do a lot of cooking because his parents were always pushing him to do things, so when he was finally able to do it as much as he wanted to, he discovered how much he loved it. now he works at the krispy kreme bakeryĀ
