@l1va22
is this something
I actually donāt know which direction the authors taking but all i can say is that this mangas taking a very poor direction, itās all being rushed. Thereās like 10-20 chapters left i think since weāre in the final battle, but despite all that thereās still so much thatās unexplained. Itās like weāre focusing on so many things at once but thereās barely any elaboration, the backstories weāve currently been getting lack detail, thereās a lack of insight on most of the characters.
So this āfull circleā moment weāre all waiting on is either gonna be ass or mediocre at best. Iāve been feeling iffy about this manga ever since I saw how oddly written the women characters are
edit: and yes not all stories are perfect but this is a major fuck up

Woawoaw @l1va22 as the resident Lest stan
Last day of easter holiday today :(
Og card
I HAVE THE MOST TALENTED MUTUALS IM OBSESSEDD
shikama despising and cursing at god for millennia only to end up just like him
i just dont get how we moved on from victor and crowley so fast, i dont understand they were so perfect for each other but we just never saw an elaboration on their relationship despite the fact victor was willing to die if it meant itād be with crowley like what was that about
Iāve been thinking about lests death in a more open minded manner and the only thing ive gotten out of it is that his death was a symbol of acceptance and him embracing his weakness, he started off as very insecure, greedy, selfish and VERY arrogant however as the story progressed further and the environment around him became more chaotic and opponents that were stronger than him came out of the wood works on a random tuesday, we see how he becomes very quite and observant, we see how heās easily picked on by rigr and how its later revealed that behind all the arrogance heās just a child thatās full of shame and insecurity.
Now we dont really know where all this shame comes from but its always been clear that lests was open minded in the sense that he changed with the environment around him, at first he was against the idea of breaking the laws of the first but he was literally just scared of losing control and security of himself and the territory he had because it meant that heād have to face parts of himself that he so desperately avoided by putting on a facade.
In chapter 105 we see that facade literally slip and I mean it SLIPPED and we saw the real lest but as usual he quickly took control, heās someone that obsesses over stability and in his last moments he was confronted again by urd to not go outside because itās not wise since ky lucās presence vanished, lest then argues back saying ky luc wasnāt a pushover and admits that he was very stronger and that it means that the opponent is powerful but he never for a second says that he could win, it implies so yes but his next words are āI will not be carelessā and it holds a lot of weight.
First of all its a big āfuck you and your fuckass brother youre full of shitā to urd because of the way he blindly follows rigr and completely forgot that heās the leader of an entire race, second of all its him acknowledging that anything can happen including his death, he knew that there were wiser options but for the first time he put others first rather than himself. Third of all, its his final form and the realization that urd is just as trifling as rigr. And finally itās an emphasis on his ego death, he was no longer acting on ego, it was just lest in his purest and realest form.
His death was him welcoming his shame and accepting that weakness isnāt a bad thing if it means that he can die for his people. He says āim a third progenitorā and in this scenario he meant it as sort of a reminder that heās a leader and governor of an entire country meaning heās responsible and HAS to take action, lest revealed his own morals and principles at the end. He didnt perceive the death of a thousand vampires as a āgoodā thing the way urd or ferid do, he saw bigger meaning in it and obviously believed that their lives had significance, he believed that their lives were so significant that it was unfair for them to die in such an unfair manner, he believed that they deserved peaceful deaths.
Lests development was actually great and i enjoyed the way his death was executed, in the end his weakness wasnāt his strength, his strength wasnāt his weakness, his strength was his passion and despite it not being enough lest is now his true self so thereās that. That was his victory in the end, he won in his perspective and MY perspective because the point was proven; he went out to there to prove a point and bitch did he not just die for his people like he wanted to so a win is a win

ā¬ļø side notesš
And with that being said yall can be quiet about him going out sad or it being his ākarmaā, its not karma if ferid deserved it this fandom often forgets that krul and ferid started chaos which led to the death of innocent humans and vampires so is it really karma or do you just not read and mind you the shit doesnāt even sound coherent cause when you look at lests character and ferids character it just sounds stupid because you niggas are missing the entire point and not reading properly
I have a lot of thoughts of crowleys character especially in relation to this fandom and how youāve all egregiously misunderstood him, his death and the way heās now giving it his all to find out who ferid is roots all the way back from the fact ferid literally ruined and somewhat saved his life, itās not lazy writing, itās a continuation from the light novels
now we donāt know if crowley is really planning to save ferid or to extract revenge onto him we donāt know, but a partial point of their dynamic is to show how ferid guided crowley to abandon his religious guilt and accept his impurities. present crowley is okay with being a bad person, heās more than okay with working with ferid whoās literally the devil, they are now both bad sick people and they are more than aware of it. this man has always wanted to give into his immorality, that was kinda of the point of him being called Shaytan by an entire army
people that say shinoa gets in the way of mikayuu and so hate her genuinely scare me because what is your problem
i always say this but Templar knight crowley is the best thing thatās ever come out of seraph of the end
you donāt know real pain until you wake up with no food in your stomach and see your favorite character died
lests death was suicide and itās obvious I fear, he never once stated that heād win, if he thought heād win he wouldnāt say that his opponent was strong. his last words were a direct insult to urd and rigr for shamelessly letting their people die without ever once stepping in and āwaitingā for the right moment.
Urd and rigr had their own plans which neglected the safety of their people, lests morals obviously went against to what they were doing therefore he proved that he wasnāt just a third progenitor and a king for the theatrics
Lests writing deeply emphasizes on the subject of him being a king and a politician, in a manga where powers consistently abused he was the odd one out. He canonically wanted to expand his territory and now we know WHY, he trusted that he could protect his people and when forcefully put in a situation where he had to watch his people die because of urds lack of efficiency he disobeyed orders and went out there to fight without knowing whether heād die or live. That is suicide, he stopped caring for what Urd wanted and acted on what he wanted and those are just the facts
Good people rarely live in this manga and lest was just another example except he killed himself, he didnāt care if he was stronger or not because none of that meant anything now that hundreds of his people were butchered without him ever stepping in
My problem isnāt with the fact lest lost we knew that was gonna happen, itās how his death was executed. Itās probably the worst death in the manga, and kagamis genuinely a horrible author because what are you doing
i hope shinoa will get ferid's butt like she got ky luc's butt because less karr's death is a huge disappointment
I donāt blame you I cant believe LEST out of all people died off screenā¹ļø
heās looking down at us right now fly high kingš„šļøšļøšļøššššš
Chapter 146 was rushed and bad, lest dying off screen was such an ass move. If ky luc (being really irrelevant and backgroundish) died on screen with a whole sob story, why couldnāt lest who was more relevant?? That was BAD writing, asheras death was bad writing, chess and horns death was bad writing and lests death was AAAASSSSSSSSS
He didnāt even get a backstory or a flashback
only time I hated lest and found him icky was when he said the seraph of the end project is something krul cant handle like you cant tell me that wasnāt a misogynistic thing to say
I NEVER HATED HIM NO COME BACKššššššššššššššššš
