I don’t have a summary for this but it’s been floating around in my mind for a bit. Who knew tbf would be the thing to help me beat a year long writer’s block. I’ll expand on this further when the first chapter is written.

Among the sea of AUs I've visualized (is that the correct word?) for Blakeshaw, a special place is definitely held by The Labyrinth AU. TL is one of my all time favorite movies (along LOTR and Dead Poets Society, lol): i loved the aesthetic, the characters, the big-age-gap ship (eh eh). At the start of the year, I bought the blu-ray and, while I was watching it in the original language, the idea struck me.

I've already got plenty of WIP on my plate, so I guess this one will dust for a while (I really have like 3 major things I'm working for TBP and 5 ff for other things). BUT hey! If, by any chance, someone decides to use this prompt, I would be immensely grateful (please, please, please). Most of the stories I plan/ideate are stories I want to read <3

Untitled Finnando fic snippet

Placing a joint between his lips, Finn returned the tin to his pocket and started searching for his lighter; only it wasn’t there, he patted all his pockets and even unzipped his jacket to check the inner breast pocket, nothing.

“Need a light?” a gruff voice asked from behind Finn making the teen startle and rip the joint from his lips and hide it in his pocket, “thought I took all of your weed.”

“I did too,” Finn agreed looking down at his feet as the older man brushed fresh snow off the bench next to him and sat down.

Mando was staring at him, searching for something as he spoke, “but?”

The teen glanced up at him, a small smile gracing his lips, “I guess I’m smarter than we both thought.”

Blakeshaw shower thoughts

We've all read the fics where Al keeps Finney indefinitely and there's usually a scene where Al lets Finney wash up but I feel we're missing a major scene.

Brushing their teeth.

Like think of going to the dentist for a cleaning, the dentist has their hands all up in your shit while you just have to sit and take it. Al would literally kill to do that to Finney. Give me an hour, I'll write it.
