It's Not Over Until You Say It's Over

The story of Destiny told by Bungie (and their Sony Overlords) is likely over. Even with a petition, its not going to bring back the people that were laid off that helped make Destiny what it is. D3 likely isn't gonna happen and if it did, it likely will be a pale and frail successor to what could have been. That doesn't mean that our Destiny has to end any time soon. We're free to pick up the torch and explore what ever idea sparks inspiration and create the adventures that we think our Guardians and the rest of the Destiny universe deserve. So, c'mon Guardians. The story isn't over until we let it end on our own terms. Share your stories, keep on adding to the world and don't give up on things yet. Guardians make their own fate after all.

idk if it was canon before but lodi is immortal. or at least doesn’t age. which IS immortality i guess. but he talks about him and the guardian not aging for the next 300 years in his idle dialogue in the tower. which makes my brain turn to liquid like he likes us So Much that he’s already thinking about us 300 years into the future. lodi wants to do the immortal equivalent of growing old together im fucking sick to my STOMACH

Embracing being a bow main all the way around.

I’m more invested in Destiny now than I have been in months. Something about the game being in a semi permanent state has let me relax a bit. I’m just playing the game for the sake of it. Before it was a rush to try and get what you wanted before it possibly could get taken away or just get powercrept by something else a few months later. Now that I have time to actually breathe and play the way I want when I want, I’m doing stuff I never would’ve before. We’ve 3-manned VoG every week. I’m grinding gear sets and master lost sectors. IM PLAYING PVP.

Why couldn’t Bungie have just done a normal semi/bi-annual expansion like every other mmo 😔
