Another windy day 🌾✨
i love you rain, i love you cold air, i love you sound of raindrops hitting the rooftops, i love you cloudy skies
I shall hasten to you in the evening, In my arms a sweet dream I'll enfold.

Title: Hamlet's Vision Artist: Pedro Américo (Brazilian [active in France and Italy], 1843-1905) Date: 1893 Genre: literary painting Movement: Academicism Medium: oil on canvas Dimensions: 170 cm (66.9 in) high x 95 cm (37.4 in) wide Location: Pinacoteca do Estado de São Paulo, Brazil
Pedro Américo, a child prodigy, became one of the most respected artists of nineteenth-century Brazil. His oeuvre ranged from allegory and history painting to Biblical scenes and Orientalist genre paintings. He was wealthy and influential in his native country for much of his life, but after political and economic changes left him impoverished and out of favor he moved to Florence, where he died in 1905.
