Finally finished!! (Will I add something to the top? Who’s to say??)
Patterns by @la-vik-fic
ASDFGHHILJGJJGJGJG It looks so good! Thank you for bringing life to my pattern, because I have been slow to get to crocheting!!!!!
More panels! (See earlier post for center panel) Colors exaggerated for contrast and I’ll update later with final yarn/shade recommendations. Looking back, I will probably add some background accents to the guitar scene… but for now, enjoy!
Departing from my usual fanfic content, starting on my Eddie the Banished crochet graphgan. Here’s the center panel graph!
(I have never done one of these all from an original design so wish me luck!)
If you happen to be an fan artist open to commissions related to fanfic (especially if you do Stranger Things work)...
I really want to avoid the pitfall I often fall into of losing momentum (which I am notorious for doing), and I've usually done graphics/gifsets to help myself stay motivated. I just don't have the bandwidth to do that anymore. Looking for a go-to artist for commissions related to this fic:
An Archive of Our Own, a project of the Organization for Transformative Works
"What on God's green earth," came the confused voice of twenty-year-old Beanie Cunningham as she stepped out of her car and looked around, "is going on here?" Beanie, having followed along despite not having been invited, looked on at the unusual set of reunions occurring before her eyes and found her eyes immediately drawn to the face that she had only recognized from photographs: her aunt. Chrissy Cunningham. And Chrissy, upon looking at the girl who had just approached, immediately saw a young woman with her brother's eyes and gently covered her mouth with a small gasp. "I feel," Eddie interrupted, walking with a flourish into the center of the group before removing his leather jacket and laying it on the ground by Beanie while his voice lilted in an almost inappropriately whimsical, sing-song cadence, "as though you may want to have a seat for this one. It's a bit of a doozie." In 2010, a handful of those lost to the Upside Down are mysteriously returned to Hawkins. As they struggle to navigate this vastly different new time, will they find a way to create new lives for themselves in a strange future? What lurks in the Upside Down, waiting to emerge if they do not? (Primary Ship: Eddie/OC)
Fanart friends, if this happens to tickle you creatively and you're open for commissions, can we be buddies please?
"H--Henderson?"
The tense interaction was interrupted when one of the other figures emerging from the distance squinted and cocked his head at the sight of Dustin, making a vague pointing gesture before a wide grin burst onto his face while he laughed in both recognition and disbelief. "That can't be you. Mine eyes deceive me."
"Eddie!"
At this, Dustin barreled forward and practically tackled the other young man into a bear hug, holding on tightly and not even bothering to hold back the fact that tears were streaming down his face. "You're back. Holy shit, you're back!" Dustin said with a slightly hoarse voice before pulling away and looking back at the girl behind Eddie, who looked on sheepishly. "And Chrissy!"
"Hi - oh!" she said with a slight yelp, surprised by the fact that Dustin swept her up into a hug in his excitement as well. "Wow, hi to you too, Dustin," she said with a hesitant laugh, knowing that she really had hardly known him at all.
"What on God's green earth," a voice nearby began, starting off slightly muffled as its source stepped out of their car, "is going on here?"

A fight for Atlantis, a grim discovery, and a meaningful choice.
I’m baaaaaaaack! 2020 really threw me for a loop, but I hope I still have your support while I continue Lex and Claire’s story. I love hearing from all of you, and Chapter 59 (which I am currently working on) will have a little bit of long overdue fluff... because 2020 has been a mess, and we deserve it!
Are you still active here?
Hey! I’ve been really busy and going through things in RL so I haven’t been able to post new content in a while — but they’re finally stabilizing and I want to get back to posting soon!
10 July 2018
Reminder: Do not buy from Amazon or even open the website between 10-17 July 2018, in solidarity with the transnational strike.
Amazon workers in Spain have called for a transnational strike because Amazon has been avoiding accountability for its labour rights violations by merely shifting the work (and the human rights abuses Amazon inflicts on their workers) to non-striking countries, each time a strike occurs. If there is widespread striking transnationally, Amazon will have no choice but to recognize the strikers’ demands in order to keep their facilities functioning.
Our job as allies is to support the strike by avoiding using the Amazon website or purchasing anything from Amazon for as long as the strike continues. A mass boycott of the site, coinciding with the strike, will strengthen the workers’ bargaining position and could be crucial to Amazon workers gaining back basic rights in a variety of countries.

Let’s see if I can bang out an AOB update for y’all.
I know you’re all probably tired of me sharing these reviews I’ve been receiving, but I want to address something in this one. There is hardly any work out there that doesn’t portray some kind of toxic or unhealthy behavior. The fact that it isn’t a healthy relationship - something which I fully admit is true - doesn’t mean it’s something that people should not see or read about. Lex/Claire in AOB is all kinds of dysfunctional and codependent in many instances - and the struggle which stems from that is an important part of the story. In a work of fiction, the trouble and the toxicity and the turmoil is part of what grounds the story in reality, because many times, that’s what life is. Again, I always welcome feedback on my work, especially constructive criticism. But I *will* reply to things like this that are needlessly mean-spirited and not rooted in reality.
I guess this is how I know I’m officially back! And one minute apart too. Some people are downright nasty.
Milestone: 50 Chapters
Christmas Eve 2017 marks 50 chapters of Angel of the Battlefield.
I wanted to take a moment to get a little sentimental. AOB has definitely been my “little story that could”. I didn’t expect it to take off as well as it did, or that it would be the reason I made a few new, amazing friends. This story, for that reason and others, is near and dear to my heart.
Merry Christmas to all of you!
Lex: damn typos
Clark: lex this is a verbal conversation
Don’t know why but I watched lots of Jesse Eisenberg’s film recently, and then, I was kind of…fall in love with this fascinating actor LOL so I drew this as a record. BTW, my favorite one is The End of the Tour! (*´∀`)~♥
