I’ve seen a lot of beautiful things with a heavy heart.
Albert Camus (via thoughtkick)
“if you must die, i’ll envy even the earth that wraps your body”
— Albert Camus, State of Siege.
“A woman. Yes, but a million other things as well.”
— Virginia Woolf, from Orlando
“Spend more time with people who bring out the best in you, not the stress in you.”
— Unknown
you’ve got to embrace being weird or else you’re going to die both spiritually and for real life
you deserve apologies, you deserve people who genuinely try to understand you, you deserve time for yourself, you deserve kind words and actions, you deserve compliments that aren’t backhanded. you deserve kindness
one day, someone will consistently show up for you and you'll realise what safety feels like.
Everybody talks about cutting ppl off but nobody really talks about the grief that comes with having to stand firm on that decision knowing it’s not what you wanted but what was necessary for your well-being.
maybe if we, as a society, spent more time in gardens things wouldn’t be like this
texting sucks, let’s have deep conversations and roll on grass instead
- Beau Taplin
The hardest part about living has been learning to not be mad at people for not being who I want them to be.
