Weâre letting boys into our lives. How do I know if heâs the right guy for you? How do I know if heâs good enough?
You're falling for someone currently.
"Maybe. Iâm interested in someone for sure. I donât know if Iâve ever fallen in love. Itâs always been something I didnât really need but yeah maybe."

hear my BATTLE CRYÂ
[x]
âItâs very artist chic.â
âMy new dog Oliver is adorable but heâs a hand-full! Thatâs for sure,â Nina laughed. âHe has eaten up half my closet and has taken one of my shoes hostage.â
âOh heâs so adorable though! Shoes and the like can be replaced. We are going to have so much fun walking our babies together.â
âOh, I just pretty much arrived back from my trip,â Dawson let out with a tired smile. âPlus, was just about to grab something to eat, youâre more than welcome to come join me if you want.â
âWell of course Iâd love to. I want to hear all about your trip!â
âHow did you manage to lose it? Itâs not exactly a small bag. Itâs got to be somewhere. â Megan said, hand that wasnât tightly gripping her phone going to her forehead in absolute exasperation. âNo. Iâm not interested in compensation. Iâm interested in my belongings.â Her attempt to keep her tone calm was clearly beginning to fail her. âNo, I wonât -â She started, stopping once she heard the abrupt âclickâ, followed by the sound of a dead line. With a frustrated growl, she tossed the phone. She hadnât noticed there was somewhere near, until the small device clattered to a stop near their feet. Eyes growing wide in embarrassment, she sighed. âIâm sorry. My flight only just landed a few hours ago and theyâve lost my bags and⌠well, itâs no excuse. Are you alright?â
Mostly Lacey was just surprised when the phone came skidding to a halt in front of her but that surprise did include her dropping her coffee. The splash hit her legs and she let out a shriek. âIâm fine. Itâs fine,â Lacey assured her swiftly as she shuffled through her bag for a napkin to use on her scalding skin. Finally finding one she held out the purse to the other girl. âPlease hold this for a moment,â she requested through gritted teeth before she crouched down the pat gently at the angry red skin. âItâs really fine. I would have been angry too. Itâs not your fault.â
âDude, unless you plan ongetting tatted upââ They began, tossing the cigarette onto thecurb. âIâd advise you to keep moving. Private property and all.âDark locks came forward as Alex nodded towards the tattoo shop.
âOkay grumpy gills,â Lacey mocked as she saw the familiar face. Alex was a local and someone she definitely appreciated. They were straightforward and that was a quality Lacey loved. âYou know my skin is far too perfect to be marred. How come I canât just stop by to see you?â
Mandy had just got into town. She wasnât sure what to make of the small town with a french name. The woman wanted to like it here, possibly even love it. There had been no openings for a massage therapy job in Vancouver- where she was born. But Mandy had heard of a small opening in a town called Luciole. Therefore she promptly packed up her things and took the job, telling all her friends she was going on an adventure. It was now her first day on the job was she was standing in front of the massage bed with anxiety ridden in her stomach. She sighed telling herself that it would turn out fineâ it had to turn out fine. Mandy didnât have much time to think about it because as soon as the next thought popped into her head she saw her first patient coming around the corner. The woman gave a small nervous smile and greeted her customer.
Having tried massages for stress before Lacey knew that she would find some relief from this, even if she was meeting an all new massage therapist. As she rounded the corner and came to face the girl Lacey was surprised to find that she looked very young and attractive. âIâm Lacey,â she started unsure of what to say. âExcept you probably already know that since I made an appointment and all.â
âWell, in that case I take a ton of pride in being dashing. If I get that label in the end.â Shane replied with a smile still on his lips. âI promise Iâm a good time. You wonât regret waiting an hour.â He said with a chuckle, his eyebrows wiggling playfully. âThereâs something about painting, even if itâs not to be a piece of art, but just painting, thatâs so freeing. You just get it all out. Itâs like therapy for me. Of course, one second.â He said before disappearing into a door at the back of the bar. He came back, setting the book in front of her. âItâs mostly nature and some people, animals. You know, whatever happened to be around at the time. Nothing too fancy.â
âI think youâre well on your way to earning it,â Lacey agreed as her eyes flicked downwards for a fraction of a second and she looked back up at him through her lashes. âI have no trouble believing you on that,â she tacked on as she bit down on her lip just slightly. âYou know I think thatâs what itâs like for me actually. It just feels like everything else disappears,â Lacey murmured before nodding as he walked off and then came back with a book. For a moment she hesitated as if she felt unsure of whether or not he really wanted her to look but then he explained what was in there and she opened it. âGo do some work already! I have things to look at!â
âCrap, Iâm sorry, today just hasnât been a very good day. I guess.âÂ
âIt happens. I canât blame you for the way you deal with it.â
âOh, youâââhe rolled his eyes. âDidnât you find anyone to pop your golden cherry yet? Youknow what happens if you keep talking to me, people will assume things aboutyour reputation.â
âDonât worry they already assume things thanks to my father. I love getting to prove them wrong.â
