Remembered princess academy by Shannon hale and I looked it up and I saw that there’s sequels?!?!?! I’ve re-read sharp objects recently and am currently re-reading gone girl and I can’t quite describe the feeling I get remembering the words I read over a decade ago and moving onto a book like princess academy who I read when I was sub 12 for sure is making me look forward to the future. Remembering when I was 12 and I finished reading mockingjay and I went outside, climbed the ladder to my childhood playhouse and laid down and looked at the ceiling for a while. I still remember the way the sun peeked thru the trees once I decided to sit up and look out the window

Weather was allllll over the place today, but at the end of it all, I realized that I actually got to watch two different thunderstorms begin. The first one outside of the library next to my youngest eating an egg n bean taco and the second with my oldest on my back porch sitting on the edge of it holding her in my lap, circling areas in the sky with our pointer finger to show where we were concentrating our vision, waiting for one more good lightning sight before we head back in.

Found a new library not in the county system and so that means I was able to check out 4 books today. I am a library bandit I’ve been afraid to go back to the local one bc they know me decently well and I have out off returning/paying for a book out of shame for how long it’s been. In my defense I tried to go in once to pay for them, but I explained how I needed to look for two but one was definitely ripped and they blew it off and just told me to look for them and bring em in next time, as is no payment needed. But now I took too long and am embarrassed about it. They will have wanted posters for me next time I go I am so sure of it

I’m here today and there are in fact no wanted posters with mine nor my children’s faces on em. They remodeled a bit since last I came and the summer program has been banging and will continue to be banging for another month or so. I’m glad to be back
