You know what’s beautiful? Reaching that stage where you no longer feel the constant urge to post selfies, where you cherish your privacy, become more engaged in your own journey, and discover genuine peace in it.
“Whenever you conceptualize social justice struggles, you will always defeat your own purposes if you cannot imagine the people around whom you are struggling as equal partners.”
Angela Davis
“There is a basin in the mind where words float around on thought and thought on sound and sight. Then there is a depth of thought untouched by words, and deeper still a gulf of formless feelings untouched by thought.”

Hadis najifi was shot 6 times because our islamic gouverment in iran value a her hair being hidden in a hijab more than her life. She was peacefully protesting and smiling, thinking a change was in our way. “I want to show my hair”, was said to be her last words. Say her name. Share this, encourage people and teach them. They silence their voices, so we have to be theirs. Because unfortunately, they don’t have the privilege to speak. The forced hijab only scratches the surface on what the people in Iran suffer through. And have, for the last 43 years.
Make some noise, be their voice. Convenient how many of you stand of equality, for women’s rights, but choose to stay quiet when needed the most. Never dare call yourself feminists again.
