I can't figure out
If I love myself and want only the best for me. Or if I just really hate myself And want to throw away everything that makes me happy.

“I agree with Judith Butler, amongst others, who argue that gender is largely constructed and that it should be seen as fluid. Nevertheless, in my experience as a woman living on the planet now, I would describe myself partly as an eco-feminist - meaning I see a direct link between the health of women and the well-being of the planet, spiritually, politically and psychologically. I am interested in the reciprocity between the cycles in women’s bodies and those of the Earth - birth, menstruation, the moon cycles and the seasons.” - Excerpt of interview with artist Shana Robbins. No thought has any power. You have power. And when you identify and believe in the thought you give power to the thought.

The goddess is not an out-there force among the far stars or beyond death, but is here and now and living. ― Diane Stein, The Women’s Spirituality Book
Women are described in animal terms as pets, cows, sows, foxes, chicks, serpents, bitches, beavers, old bats, old hens, mother hens, pussycats, cats, cheetahs, bird-brains, and hare-brains…‘Mother Nature’ is raped, mastered, conquered, mined; her secrets are ‘penetrated,’ her ‘womb’ is to be put into the service of the ‘man of science.’ Virgin timber is felled, cut down; fertile soil is tilled, and land that lies ‘fallow’ is ‘barren,’ useless. The exploitation of nature and animals is justified by feminizing them; the exploitation of women is justified by naturalizing them.
