Early childhood education programs gained popularity and in demand in a changing world. Learning centers and online languages centers are sprouting like mushrooms.

And in this trend in early childhood programs, educators often times struggling with what methodology and strategies to be implemented to address the needs of one-year-old in a classroom. We all know that in this stage of life, children development is crucial and varies to one another.

To understand better this situation, lets us define the Early Childhood Development (ECD). According to the expert, this refers to many skills and milestones that the children are expected to achieve by the time they reached the age of five or six. The milestones that we are referring here are the skills that the children learn as they grow. In this stage, they learn how to run, learn how to talk using simple words and develop how to interact with other children through play and even to the older people around them. Parents, caregivers, and teachers should be sensible enough to the needs of quality care that a child should have at this stage of his life. 

Most often times, this physical, cognitive, social and emotional development of children come naturally when parents have a quality time through playing with their children.

Parents and caregivers should have an extensive training in understanding the child development. Teachers need to continue to studies and research to develop suitable and sustainable programs to address the needs of the children that encourage parents involvement in developing activities.
