I feel so stuck recently.

I want to move forward and do things but my insecurities are keeping me from moving. Is scary. I try to get advice and when I do it feels like people are just posing their opinions on me or the situation.

Friends and family are always kind to me but I feel empty and don’t know how to fill up that void. The one person that makes me happy, is the one person I don’t want to burden with my dumb thoughts. I want to be stronger. Just when I thought I’m doing fine, I fall into this hole full of unresolved feelings. I wish I could just say what I feel all the time and not care about the outcome or if people see me in a different way.

I feel like as we get older, we become more and more scare of loneliness. Of being left alone with our own thoughts and feelings. No one really teaches you how to deal with loneliness, or how to deal with your feelings. You can surround yourself with a thousand people, and still feel lonely.

Another problem is that I lost my trust in social media as well. My one outlet back in the day where I was able to say anything and everything had become my own enemy IRL. Broken friendships and relationships because of it really take a number on you. Makes it hard to trust people, to trust yourself, to trust your safe place (in my case it was the internet). I haven’t been posting as much as I used to because of that. Is hard to find yourself once you have lost your “safe place” and every time you try to pull yourself together and you think you are doing better, it brings you back to that same pit.

Even though I keep falling on this same pit over and over again for the past year and a half, I feel like I’ve been getting a little bit stronger every time I fall. I just wish the process was faster and that I could overcome this faster. (As you can see, I’m a very impatient person).

If you are still reading this, I just want you to know that you are not the only one who feels this way. That there are probably hundreds of you who feel the same way and don’t know how to cope with it. I just want to let you know that I’m here for you, and that you are getting stronger every day and every time you fall into that pit.
