Episode 30 – Lunatic Fringe
Q: Why is this episode so late? A: Spring has sprung and we got distracted. Also, Anne has The Depression, and has trouble getting things done sometimes. This is a pisspoor excuse but a real one.
This month we discuss Lunatic Fringe, which is about lesbian werewolves and that’s kind of all we need to know to be on board.
Lexie is a frosh in college, and she doesn’t know her major is actually in…

Friends, join us as we gather to discuss reader suggestion Uncommon Romance, by Jove Belle!
These three erotic novellas feature the subjects of:

Maybe it’s a little power-y, but consent abounds and we have a good time. And just to make it…

the world needs more happy queers falling in love and driving off into the sunset and fewer tortured queers dying in order to pacify the cosmic quota of terrible representation
In total agreement with this.
Episode 26 - Armchair Detective
When we recorded this episode, we delayed because I was sick, then Foley was sick and the show went on… then I turned 30 and had two, TWO waves of surprised guests. And then I concussed myself. Those are my excuses for this being two weeks late! BEHOLD…

Bijal Rao is a conservative Republican and a lesbian, and that’s working out about as well as you would expect.
But things become even tricker when her candidate’s opponent is liberal democrat Coleen O’Bannon — a straight shooter who shoots straight into Bijal’s heart.
Can love blossom amidst the honored opposition? Or will the political divide divvy up decisive division?
We’re down a Conley this week, but we’re still up for discussion of political mashing-nations (machinations). (get it) (guys) (guys).
Love & Marriage. During a press conference regarding the decision on DOMA, Edith Windsor shares her and Thea Spyer’s mantras for love:
"Mine was ‘Don’t postpone joy’ and Thea’s was ‘Keep it hot.’"

This book and podcast discusses themes of sexual assault.
Remember us? Your long lost pals, the LadyLike Book Club? We're back to talk about Lady Knight, by L-J Baker!
Rhiannon bears the scars of battle, but also the scars of being outcast by her family. Who has ever heard of a lady knight, much less one who can defeat the unbeatable foes of the kingdom? Priestess Aveline sees the truth -- that only Rhiannon has the strength to bring them victory in holy war.
Eleanor, twice widowed and winsome, is drawn to the enigmatic Rhiannon at first sight. But can they overcome the roles they play -- the roles they chose and the roles thrust upon them -- to find the strength in their love?
Sweet chivalry, firey flirts, and spicy nights… All of LadyLike's favorite flavors taste great together in Lady Knight!
