Grievous and his daughter. Yes it’s ok to let him lick the baby, it’s how Vashaen parents groom and clean their newborns before their soft baby skin can handle the high-PH waters of their home. And it stimulates and encourages bonding, and also helps their birth fur to fall out, though Sahara doesn’t have that issue. Grievous would carry her in his mouth too like a momma cat, but she isn’t built like a Vashaen baby.

Okay, how tall is Grievous exactly? And how much does he weigh? Same with Dana!

Grievous is exactly 7'5 ½", closer to 6'2" if he stops being a digitgrade and stands on the flats of his feet, which he never does so that’s a moot point. His species can get close to 8 and a half feet tall. When he’s in his Eridanus armor, however, he’s 8 feet. I would hazard a guess at about 270 pounds, give or take? Because he’s basically solid muscle, however his species can fly so his bones are very light. However I’ll be editing this when I hear back from Rohan

In his quadrupedal form, he alternates between standing 4'3" at the shoulder, which is a more wolflike build used for endurance and plowing through shit, and a much lankier, horselike version that’s 5'9 at the shoulder, and is for speed and blitz attacks. Both are equally dangerous. The first, wolflike form weighs around 670 pounds and the second, more horselike one (which is infinitely scarier) weighs around 1010 pounds.

Dana is 5'7" and weighs 115 pounds, because she is a measly sprite of a thing

Pre-resurrection, Grievous would have weighed maybe 150 pounds at the most. His species is flightes and despite having hollow bones, they’re still very powerful and strong. After surgery, when the hollows in his bones have been filled with metal, several bones coated in it, parts of his body replaced with entirely cybernetic parts, his wings removed and a tail added, face elongated and filled with metal fangs, and coated in an armor layer, he’s close to 250.

When was your OCs first growth spurt?

Grievous didn’t have any SUPER growth spurts, he started a relatively average size and slowly grew a bit more each year until he was taller than average. I’d say the most NOTICEABLE one was when he was 10-11, since that’s when most Vashaen males start growing. He went from about 4 and a half feet tall at age 9 to 5'10" at age 11, which is the average height for a preteen Vashaen (they’re big.) By 14 he was 7'2", by 17 he was 8’, and by 21 he was 8'5". Truthfully, though, Vashaens don’t ever really stop growing until their mid-fifties, because they live almost 500 years. His final height after death and rebirth was 9'2" in the armor and 9’ without.

He can sort of adjust his foot bones to remain 8'5" though. This is not possible normally, he’s a cyborg. He likes being tall but not THAT tall

Griezra stands around 9 feet 2 inches in canon (in his armor. He’s about 8'9" without it) I specifically shrink him to like 8 foot 5 for Grievous/Dana stuff so it’s not physically impossible for them to actually kiss??? Seth is only about 5'6" and smol and requires protection. From Griezra. Because Griezra wants to murder him.

Given that Griezra annihilated an entire species that had a population upwards of 5 billion, were spread out across the various realms, and had the best military technology in all realms, WHILE SINULTANEOUSLY bringing down an entire tyrannical dictatorial government, Seth is right to be afraid of him.

Seth does a lot of stupid things through the course of my novel, but assuming Griezra would be easily defeated by a teenager is by far the stupidest

What is your OC’s sexuality?

Heteroromantic and asexual.

And to extrapolate on this, it is perhaps plausible that his heteroromantic rigidity came from psychological after effects of the sexual assault he suffered as a child, just as the asexuality has its roots in the same trauma. If he had been primarily assaulted by females, would he still be straight? Unknown. Since asexuality is his predominant orientation, relationships aren’t common for him and while I don’t necessarily THINK that he would be incapable of a homosexual relationship, any kind of intimate physical or sexual contact from a male would have extremely adverse effects on him. He has suffered bad relationships with females before–but not during such important formative years as when he was six and a sex slave.

Well I just had to. Sorry.

Grievous is asexual, specifically a rather unique kind of demisexual–he has only ever been sexually attracted to Dana, and only after a close emotional relationship. He was, mentally, attracted to his girlfriend Chalice, but did not feel physical arousal except during the act itself, until very, VERY late in the relationship, shortly before he ended it because he didn’t want her to have to suffer because he was spiraling downward. He is sex repulsed due to trauma.

However, when his sexual interests did surface, these were the things he was interested in (in each respective partner)

Chalice: • When she would wear her one lavender silk lingerie nightdress with the lace chest and mesh back. • He likes backs, but he has issues with anyone BEING on their front so he just sorta Admired from a distance? •They way her legs looked when she crossed one over the other and pointed her toes in a sexy way • Tilting her head back • Being stroked on his ears (erogenous zone) • Running a finger from the bony part of his right shoulder up the side of his neck to scratch just below his ear • Chalice sticking her tongue out just a little. There’s a lot we could list for Dana since this was the only time he ever just felt genuine and general lust without something specific bringing it on. Notable ones that really do it for him:

Which OC prays to their ancestors?

Sometimes Grievous. But not often, because he doesn’t believe he deserves their help after they all died in his war.

What is your OC’s diet like?

A lot of Grievous’s internal systems have sustained enough damage that he can’t actually process food anymore, he has to receive nutrients intravenously if at all–but due to the Dark Armor, he doesn’t need to ‘eat’ more than once a month. If he was actually IN the armor like he’s supposed to be, he would never need to eat at all. However, in his feral/quadruped form he can eat, and he prefers fresh, raw meat. He can also sorta…tongue squishy fruits to death. But he can’t actually chew. Every single one of his teeth is now a lacerating spike and a lot of them are curved backwards so that when he bites something, pulling away from him will shred the flesh.

He’s also from a mesocarnivorous species, so aside from some fruits and vegetables on occasion–more of a delicacy than a necessity–his species eats almost predominantly meats and fish. So mostly he eats….meat and fish. Sometimes yogurt, although lactose is not something they’re used to processing. Fortunately at this point it doesn’t matter. He has only a stomach and liver, no intestines, and so he doesn’t eat with any frequency.

@ladyofthepersonalart how does he get the food out if he has no intestines??? and would his ‘chewing’ be like how a crocodile would look when they eat?? Like, jerking their head and tossing the meat further into their mouths?? or would stuff just get caught on his spiky teeth and just. not move?

His stomach has been modified to destroy and absorb just about anything organic that enters it–our stomachs don’t destroy things 100%, they pass on what they can’t digest. But his can digest and break down completely almost anything organic with the exception of some plant fibers, and it all goes directly into the blood, or rather, straight to the liver, which has also been modified to process the extreme amount of toxins this creates. There IS magic involved, since normally our livers send said toxins to the kidneys, but he no longer has functioning ones. It is by no means a perfect process and that’s why he almost never eats, and when he does decided to ingest food, it’s almost exclusively liquids. In feral form there’s a bit more magic involved in the breaking down of toxins, allowing him to actually eat, but only rarely, since it can still have very adverse affects. Things that can’t be digested would theoretically be coughed up as pellets, like an owl. But his stomach can handle hairs and furs and bones, where most creatures’ can’t. He isn’t made to eat anymore, though, that’s really the point. He’s not supposed to. And yes, he would need to shred the meat and swallow it whole or it would get stuck on his teeth if he tried to chew it.
