the main thing that puts me off of playing chess is that there is 2000 years of gameplay that hundreds of people with higher IQs than me have spent thousands of hours studying the history of, so much so that when i put the pawn forward they say “ah i see youre going for the bulgarian somersault” and then i try to take their bishop with my knight and they go “aw, rookie mistake, youve played the frenchmans cumsock, and in approximately 37 moves i’ll have won”

This show…This show is one of the more disturbing, offbeat, and hilariously stereotypical shows of the 80s. I just found out about it and this, episode 7, was the first episode I watched and I’m both confused and intrigued.

I love how dark and manly this show is. You get freaky monsters, pig-headed Russians, and heroes with a genuine IDGAF attitude, I mean, they stare down a tank and one of them says “Don’t worry, my tank is full of liquid hydrogen so if he shoots we all go.” They really didn’t give three shits about causing a nuclear explosion near the earth’s core.

Whenever I see these ‘observation towers’ they’re always jam packed with fish. Do fish just enjoy being able to see over the regular water level that much? Is this a good method of enrichment for fish?
