If only this were the case...

Tumblr gets upset at porn bots that they have ignored for  years,  puts a banhammer on all adult content... and then proceeds to combat the existing porn bots with censor bots of their own, getting innocent posts flagged in the crossfire. If you cant beat the bots,  delete the bots, then make your own bot army.

The whole Tumblr debacle makes me secretly wish that Yahoo had created all the porn bots in the first place so they could Senator Palpatine themselves into being Emperor of Tumblr.  Playing both sides to their own advantage.
